'While the hotel offers fairly basic amenities, the kind staff and impeccable cleanliness more than make up for it. Everyone was incredibly courteous and helpful. I was rushing to leave at 7:30 am. and my driver was already waiting, so the staff kindly let me take my coffee in one of their porcelain mugs to go. Such a thoughtful gesture meant a lot. The hotel is also within walking distance of the main park and the old town. Overall, it was a lovely experience, and I would happily stay here...
'Nothing special. The room was big and well designed. Good coffee downstairs. However there were inconveniences that made my stay unpleasant. I asked for bottled water because I don't know about the Slovakian tap water. They didn't have any for me down at the reception. Then when the front desk called me they said: i found a bottle, you can come down.
The room had 2 AC systems that wouldn't turn off. It was super hot in the room the whole time. I decided to unplug the AC systems as it was...
'Cute hotel, nice jacuzzi bathtub, comfortable bed, but fyi it is a self-check in hotel so there is no staff and the door to enter after hours is a bit tricky to find, however staff was nice to help us with sending detailed instructions on how to check in so there were no issues'
'Nice pension in traditional mountain style. Our room was very nicely decorated and we had our own balcony. Our bathroom was equipped with a luxurious shower. Very warm and helpful hospitality. Ample breakfast. We also had dinner for 8 EUR per person, which was traditional Romanian and also very ample. The dining room has a nice fireplace where always a fire was burning (in October, maybe it is different in July).
We felt very comfortable an will return to that place.'
