'We were greeted by friendly luggage porters in kilts to this beautiful historic resort who loaded up our large suitcases on carts and once checked in, the porter delivered them to our room. We had a nicely decorated room with a large smart tv and a very comfortable king bed. We ate at the pub the first evening and the food and service was exceptional. Dinner was followed by a ghost tour at 9 pm which was a lot of fun and provided some history of the hotel. We ate breakfast in the main dining...
'Although the property is a little dated, it is very clean and comfortable. Staff very friendly and helpful and the breakfast was simple and delicious. Everything we needed and would stay again.'

Downside - it is above a restaurant and BAR. Very noisy until late hours. Walls & floors thin. Empty booze bottles scattered at the end of the hall and the balcony from other guests that continued the party- right outside our room.
I would have said something on check out, but the process consisted of us just leaving your key in a basket at the entrance.'

'We had a great time here. It was 20 minutes away from Saint Andrews, a nice coastal village, and the hotel itself had a comfy room, nice hot tubs (hot tub 1 we liked the best), fire pits with wood provided. We would come here again!'
