'Our family had a lovely stay here for 3 nights. The views are truly outstanding. We enjoyed a variety of different activities while in the area, but cooked all our meals in the room. The kitchenette is basic, but we managed just fine. The included breakfasts were a highlight - plentiful, fresh, homemade and delicious! We heard howler monkeys and saw toucans from the balcony! Don’t hesitate to book this property if you want a unique, beautiful, and peaceful place to stay while touring around...

'Wonderful simple cabins that are reminiscent of Costa Rica of the past, with very kind helpful hosts. If you’re looking for a quiet clean escape into the cloud forest, this is the place. We were so happy to see all the hummingbirds while we enjoyed the excellent coffee and fresh fruit juice in the morning. The private trail was a moderate hike to a gorgeous waterfall and was a great taste of the beauty of the area without the crowds of Tenorio. Our 6 year-old loved seeing the red-eyed tree...

'Just a heads up for English speaking travelers, that only one peraon who worked there spoke a little English, which is understandable but just an fyi. It made check-in a little difficult. The shower did not really work. I was only there for a day. It is nice for a more rugged kind of place. A little run down, but unique. The people where nice and helpful despite the language barrier. Again, I am not saying the people who live in rual Costa Rica should know how to speak English of course, but...

'Accommodatie was in hele slechte staat en ontzettend oud. Het huisje viel op zich nog mee en wel schoon. 1 zwembad was leeg/onderhoud. Aantal plekken waar dieren zouden zitten stond leeg. Ontbijt was heel slecht. Wifi niet best. We hadden 4 dagen geboekt omdat we hier heel veel van hadden verwacht. Maar na 2 nachten al uitgecheckt. Enige is dat het personeel ontzettend aardig is. '

'Amazing family-run hotel. Eric & Cécile do a great job at making their guests feel welcome and at home. Only two rooms on the finca, located a short walk away from Eric & Cécile's own house. Next to the house is a small pool and a seating area where breakfast is served. That breakfast is a real treat, freshly baked bread, home made jam, tea/coffee or hot chocolate, eggs made to order ... . You can really ask for nothing more in a hotel. The finca itself is beautifull with lots of trees, flowers...

'We really enjoyed our stay here. The garden was incredible and the lovely family did a little night tour to show us frogs, sleeping birds and other small creatures and plants. In the day we saw many birds. The little side kitchen was nice, and the hostess cooked very good breakfasts of local food, much of which they grew. This was one of our favourite places we stayed in CR. '
