Hostel Loreto, vriendelijk in het hartje van Denia
Beoordeling van het hotel: Het is een vriendelijk (1 sterren) hotel met grote ruime kamers en airco. En heerlijk: om elke dag schone handdoeken te krijgen en te ontbijten in de gezellige patio. Het hotel ligt in een (hoofd) straat waar veel gezellige restaurantjes te vinden zijn. Van dat geluid heb je geen last in het hotel. De eigenaren van het hotel spreken ook Nederlands en vertellen bij aankomst handige dingen om te weten over Denia. Je krijgt ook een kaart van Denia. Het personeel is altijd even geduldig om alles uit te leggen over fietsroutes, excursies e.d. Een aandachtspunt is, dat het hotel geen lift heeft en de traptreden vrij hoog zijn. Als je moeite hebt met traplopen, kun je beter een kamer kiezen op een lagere verdieping. Al met al: Een heel leuk hotel met vriendelijk personeel in het hartje van Denia.

Very lovely hostel
The hostel is lovely and the staff when we arrived was very friendly, but when we came down in the morning the lady was a bit rude and thought it was ridiculous that we wanted to fill our own water bottle instead of buying a plastic bottle of water

Vi ble veldig godt tatt i mot av en dyktig resepsjonist, som svært gjerne fortalte oss hva vi kunne gjøre i Denia. Rommet var Ok, men dusjen fungerte ikke. Vi fikk nøkkel og tilgang til dusj på gangen rett utafor rommet. Eiendommen er gammel, og det er lytt mellom rommene og ut mot gaten. Sentralt plassert i byen. 10 minutter gange til parkeringshus. Umulig å finne ledig plass på gateplan. Fikk servert frokost på tallerken med godt brød, skinke, ost og syltetøy. Nedturen kom da jeg gjerne ville ha en ekstra kopp kaffe, som forøvrig var veldig god. Jo, da; det kunne jeg gjerne få. Men det kostet ekstra. Det er første gang jeg har opplevd å måtte betale ekstra for å få en kopp kaffe til når jeg har betalt for frokost på forhånd. En sånn liten sak ødelegger et ellers Ok inntrykk.

Decepcionante me dieron otra habitación y tuve que pagar mas ,la television no funcionaba,me pidieron dejar la habitacion un dia antes.El director/ra estaba de vacaciones fuera del país. Habia estado otras veces y como cliente no me atendieron bien.

Nice stay
We enjoyed our stay. Our room was at the front and you could hear the noise from the street. Didn't bother us but might some people. Rooms at the back obviously quieter. Great breakfast, lovely courtyard and sun terrace on the roof.

Magnífico el Hotel, en un edificio histórico perfectamente ambientado y restaurado. Ubicación perfecta en el centro histórico, calle muy concurrida de Restuarantes y ocio. Sólo lamentar el ruido de la calle, especialmente de la terraza del Restaurante del Hotel, que no paró hasta lmuy avanzada la madrugada. Deberían insonorizar las ventanas. Gracias

Kiva hostelli hyvällä sijainnilla
Oikein viehättävä ja siisti pikku hostelli. Todella avulias poika respassa. Huone oli pieni, mutta kylpyhuone todella iso. Äänieristystä ei ollut, joten viereisestä huoneesta kuului kaikki läpi. Hissiä ei ollut, siitä miinusta.

Lots of character and great location and staff
If you are looking for sterile, modern hotel this is not the place for you. If you want authentic Spanish accommodation in a fab location then this well-priced hostal might just be right! Despite it being a very old converted convent it does have wifi and aircon. Highlights are the lovely internal courtyard and the roof terrace. The little fridge in the room is handy.It is worth upgrading (costs a few euros more) to a superior room and its superking, comfortable bed.

El hotel se sitúa en una calle peatonal, con muchos restautantes...y esto es un arma de doble filo; cerca de todo y mucho barullo. Aparcas lejos o pagas aparcamiento. Las habitaciones estan muy limpias, pero excesivamente pequeñas, y sin ascensor. Es el hotel que tenía mejor relación calidad precio de los libres a mitad de agosto, pero supongo que con más antelación en la reserva, nuestra elección hubiera sido otra.

Lovely hostal with wonderful location
Wonderful location, right in the middle of the old city with lots of tapas bars. The hostal is lovely. Nice size room, comfortable beds and wifi. The breakfast is good. Staff is friendly and helpful. The beach is just a short walk away. I would recommed this hostal to anyone that is going to Denia.

Centrally located in Denia Old Town
My husband and I stayed in Hostal Loreto for two nights. The staff were extremely friendly and the accommodation is very clean. The location is so central and bustling in the evenings with a variety of tapas bars. The courtyard was cool and comfortable for breakfast and we ate out in he street at Hostal Loreto for th two nights as the food was good. It is tradional accommodation and we were able to park for the duration for an extra fee.

Thank you for your review. We are glad you enjoyed your stay. We are sorry you didn't enjoy our breakfast. As in many Spanish hotels our breakfast which is included in the price of your room consists of a glass of fresh orange juice, a coffee and half a baguette with tomato, ham and cheese or jam if you prefer. However we have several different breakfasts which can be ordered either in reception or in the restaurant on payment of a small supplement, usually 2€. For example you can have an English cooked breakfast or a healthy one with fruit, muesli and yogurt to name but two. We hope you will return soon to give us another chance to change your opinion of our breakfasts!

NO PUDE DORMIR
No pudimos dormir en todas las noches por el excesivo ruido que entra de la calle, (Terrrazas de los restaurantes que no quitan las mesas hasta las 2 de la mañana, Camión de la basura a las 4, Gente gritando en la calle, Ruido de las cañerias y mucha gente subiendo y bajando por las escaleras.....). El personal del Hotel es lo unico bueno que tiene, son amables y se esmeran en atenderte. La habitación estaba limpia y recojida.

Lovely old building in fabulous position but......
I booked a Superior Single Room. I had asked for a bathtub, and not too many stairs. After a warm welcome I was directed up the stairs to my room. The receptionist said she couldn't help me with my two heavy bags as she couldn't leave reception! I had to make two separate journeys up 39 stairs! I am not young as this was too much for me. When I checked out the owner said the receptionist should have called for help. The room was tiny and as well as a 4 ft bed there was only room for a tiny bedside table. It was shuttered and completely dark. I managed to get one bag in the wardrobe but had to put the other in the bath until I took it to a friend next day. It was very cold but when I asked they brought me a heater and it was cosy. There was plenty of hot water and the bathroom was fine. I think this is an hotel for a younger person! The restaurant is excellent.

Please accept our apologies that the receptionist was unable to assist you with your bags. She should have called another member of staff to help you and will do so on your next visit. We have no single rooms with a bath on the first floor therefore you were allocated a room on the second floor. The website states that we have no lift. Our superior single rooms normally have a 90cm bed but we installed a 135cm bed for you as requested however we understand that you feel that this made the room very small. We do however have many different types and sizes of rooms and would be delighted to assist you in your choice of room for your next visit.

tolles Hostal in bester Altstadtlage
Wir waren eine Woche mit unserer kleinen Tochter da. Die Lage war für uns mit Kind optimal, da wir abends nicht mehr mit dem Auto unterwegs sein wollten. Vor dem Hostal gibt es eine ganze Reihe von netten Bars und Restaurants, man ist mitten drin im Geschehen. Die Parkplatzsuche ist etwas mühselig in den kleinen Gassen, der Hotelparklpatz kostet am Tag 10 Euro, das fanden wir zu teuer. Das Frühstück war überraschend gut und landestypisch. Alles in allem ein sehr schöner Aufenthalt. Wir können es nur empfehlen.

Nice place to stay in downtown Denia
Is near all the shops, restaurants, and bars. It is a 15 minute walk to the ocean. Staff is very nice.
