Staff was one of the worst I've experienced. At check in there was 1 clerk, Mohammed, & a line of 3 guests. We waited 45 mins. Mohammed did not tell us where to find our room the elevator or where to park. He required $10 to park via QR code which seemed suspicious. The free wifi required multiple steps & not for the less tech-savvy.
The counter was left unattended with no way to call for assistance. A bell would have sufficed. I called the front desk & a clerk appeared after hearing the ring.
One of our keys didn't work. To our surprise, Mohammed handed us a new key without asking for ID. Security was not a concern
A note stated extra linens were in the closet, but they weren’t. The phone was broke. Bedside light didn't work. TV was small & set too low to be seen from beds. Remote worked but did not change the channel.
We waited for an hour @ airport for shuttle, called the hotel multiple times to inquire. Mohammed answered the 1st time & said the shuttle would be on its way back in 30 min. After 45, my husband & I tried to call the hotel to have it ring endlessly & on occasion answer & hang up.
We reported at 8a our toilet was clogged. At 6p, it was still clogged. No one had serviced the room.
The shower had great water pressure. The breakfast bar was well stocked. The attendant was attentive but seeking a tip as a tip jar was very prominently placed. Posters in the dining area stated "do not take food to room" which piqued my curiosity but didn't stop others.
