Great house in a quiet neighborhood!

This house was in a great location, clean and well equiped for our 5 night stay. Although there were only 3 of us it would accommodate a larger group comfortably. I had good communication with the owner and the check-in and check-out was easy.

Family Fun

The property was great for our family, 9 total people kids 15 and older. We had plenty of space in a quite neighborhood. We enjoyed the grill and gas firepit outside, firepit in the Gazebo. Lots of great memories made at the house and Des Moines Metro area. Definitely would stay here again.

Perfect in every way!

Tim was a great host. Great communication and very accommodating. We were very comfortable and the House exceeded our expectations. Our group of 10 had all the space we needed. The property was within a 10 to 15 minute drive from everything. Thanks Tim for making our trip to Des Moines memorable.

Tim is a great host! The deck and gazebo was a fantastic area for geusts to relax! The house was great very clean and had everything we needed. The no shoes in the house is weird, I get it with the light colored carpet and Des Moines winters, but throw out the slippers in the hall closest. Nobody is going to wear someone elses slippers.

Thanksgiving Gathering from many states

We were looking for a property that could house around 14 people and have sufficient bathrooms. This property worked great. The photos do not show the house as spacious as it is. One night we had 12 people sitting comfortably in the living room. The kitchen is very well equipped. I even was able to use a large pot to heat a batch of soup I had made for 15 people. This same pot would be great for sweet.corn in the summer. There were sufficient dishes and silverware for the group. We were fortunate that the weather was warm enough to use the fire pit. The use of the garage to bring things into the house was great. The neighborhood is very nice,! yet convenient to supermarkets and shopping.. Would definitely book this property again. Tim was very communicative and also respectful of our privacy.

Loved it!

Spacious house. We had 4 adults and 5 kids 6 mo - 16 yo. They had a great time. Big back yard for them to play in, beautiful gazebo and firepit. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will look up again in the future.

Week Long Family Time Tradition

My family is spread out over several states and we get together every year for a week at different locations depending on our excuse to get together. This house was the perfect location this year. It's usually about a dozen of us and sometimes a couple more. There was plenty of room for us all to have our privacy in the evening and comfortably congregate all at once. We spent most of our time in the kitchen/dining/living room area inside and outside in the gazebo. The furniture was comfortable as were the beds. There were plenty of activities to interact so we hardly had the TV on. It was a great week spending time with family. I would definitely recommend this house to any medium to large group passing through the area whether it be for business or personal reasons. It's a regular house but it's clear the owners put an effort into making it comfortable and inviting. This place has a good vibe.

Great place for a family stay

We had a great time with my family and my brother and his kids at this house. It had lots of beds/bedrooms to accommodate everyone. The basement was fun for the kids, but it did just have a foosball table, not the other things pictured. The table/chairs were upgraded from the photos and they are nice, sturdy chairs, 6 of them. The owner was helpful in communication and even helped look for a left stuffed animal after we checked out.

Excellent Location - Comfortable Home

We enjoyed our stay in this spacious 5 bedroom home with a large deck and gazebo to enjoy the beautiful Iowa weather. All beds were comfortable and the home had everything you would need to have a large family stay over. We would like to go back again next year.

This was the perfect property for our stay the week before our daughter's wedding. Ground floor bedroom for Grandma, plenty of room for parents, siblings and bridesmaids. Spacious for preparations and convenient to shopping. Highly recommended.

A big house in a great location.

The house had plenty of room and was in a nice neighborhood. There were some entertainment options in the house, such as a foosball table, ping pong table and Wii. The house was lacking cleanliness in showers. Also, the kitchen had old leftover food in the refrigerator and cabinets, and there were only two spoons.
