They have allocated the designated smoking area to the front under the awning, where you pull up- I have asthma and I also know elderly people with COPD who don’t want to get out of their vehicle to smell smoke in their face when they’re trying to check in. It reflects poorly on the hotel- also during my stay, the HVAC system was having intermittent issues- I was moved rooms 5 times and also they were doing renovations (which they lacked to announce ahead of booking) I firmly believe the integrity of a business is important and being transparent and up front with people before they book a room that it should be announced (whether on a 3rd party site, or their own site) that there is renovations and it’s going to be loud and possibly irritating. The staff were respectful, but I believe they lack common understanding in common sense when it comes to problem resolutions and looking at a bigger picture to the entirety of a stay. I hope corporate can utilize this, and offer additional training to all employees. Overall, I’m beyond dissatisfied.
