There are also walkable pockets around the harbor and some beach access points, but a vehicle is recommended for convenience, especially during peak season when traffic can be heavier.



Traveling to/around the area, explore by foot, by bike, or by car:

• A car is recommended for most errands and sightseeing, especially for grocery runs and visiting multiple attractions in one day.

• Walking works well around HarborWalk Village and the Destin Harbor area, but plan to drive for most beach access points, shopping, and exploring.

• Rideshares may be available, though wait times can vary during peak season and event weekends.

• If biking, stick to safer routes and designated paths where available, traffic can be heavier along main roads during peak travel times.
