    Welkom bij Pelican View gelegen in het Crystal Beach-gebied langs Scenic Highway 98 in Destin. Deze 1 BR / 1 BA appartement is gelegen op de 2e verdieping van Grand Caribbean East en biedt een betoverend uitzicht op de Golf van Mexico en het gemeenschappelijk zwembad dek! Buiten zitten en kijken naar de zonnige blauwe luchten verdwijnen in een mooie combinatie van paars, oranje en roze als de zon ondergaat over het water.

    De ruime en lichte slaapkamer heeft een queen size bed en een flatscreen-tv met toegang tot de badkamer. De badkamer is ook toegankelijk vanuit de hal, waar er zijn gebouwd in stapelbedden, ideaal voor kinderen. De open woonkamer heeft een slaapbank, flatscreen-tv, een kleine eethoek en dubbele deur toegang tot het balkon met uitzicht op het zwembad en heeft uitzicht op het strand. Onlangs gerenoveerd, de volledig uitgeruste keuken is voorzien van RVS apparatuur, granieten werkbladen en een ontbijt bar voor extra zitplaatsen!

    Grand Caribbean East heeft een eigen zwembad, een hot tub, community grill met picknicktafels en parkeergelegenheid. Het wordt niet veel beter dan blijven en spelen in de Pelican View condo in de buurt van alles wat er gebeurt in Destin.

    Een mooie en leuke vakantie is uw naam noemen in het condominium met drie verdiepingen, het Grand Caribbean East. Het Grand Caribbean East is misschien wel de meest toplocatie in Destin. Het ligt dicht genoeg bij de plek waar alle actie plaatsvindt, maar ver genoeg om er niet in verstrikt te raken. Geniet van het prachtige uitzicht op de Golf en het strand, het weelderige landschap dat u naar een tropisch paradijs brengt en de charme die vakantiegangers van alle leeftijden aantrekt. Het zwembad ter plaatse is geweldig om naast te leggen en een plons in! De whirlpool spa-hot tub is gewoon smeken om te gebruiken na een lange dag plezier. Maak je smakelijke barbeque-gerecht op de community-grill en dineer op de gunstig gelegen picknicktafels. De condominiums beschikken ook over keukens op ware grootte voor diegenen die binnen willen dineren. Parkeren op het terrein is altijd voor het inpakken, uitpakken en degenen die altijd onderweg zijn tijdens hun vakantie. Met het strand gemakkelijk op loopafstand, de Grand Caribbean East is perfect voor jou.

Super place with easy access to the beach. Condo is in good condition and had a small need for maintenance and property company responded quickly and fixed the trouble immediate (shower drain). Will be visiting next year & booking here.

Great location

Great location for a family trip and a quick walk across the road to the public beach access. Although, not super clean and did not have some of the necessary items to stay at this place (i.e. parking pass), overall was a great stay and good location. One thing though, my mother and father stayed right upstairs and was 10x as nice and clean. Would likely stay at this place again!

Great vacation!

We really enjoyed our stay! Even though the beach was across the street, it was still easily accessible and just a short walk. The ocean water was the clearest that I have ever seen and the sand was so soft and fluffy. The pool was clean and we didn’t have to share it with a ton of people. The condo was clean and had everything we needed. We will definitely be back for a return trip.

Cable company were changing out boxes in the Condos and it would have been nice to have been informed about that before hand. Drains in bathroom sink and tub did not drain well at all. Beach chairs were old and rusty and needs to be replaced. Location was perfect and overall the stay was ok.

Unit comes with beach equipment, toys, umbrellas, chairs, etc. the unit is on the second floor and is in front of the pool. Access to the unit is in the back parking lot and there is no elevator, just stairs. Unit was clean and did the job as the majority of our time was exploring and being at the beach.

Our favorite Destin condo

We absolutely love this unit and the Grand Caribbean East property. This is our second time staying in this unit and we won't stay anywhere else in Destin. The unit is beautiful and cozy yet spacious and clean and has everything needed for a very comfortable stay. The balcony overlooks the pool and street traffic, providing an amazing view of the area. Since the unit is across from the beach you can also see and hear the water from the balcony. This unit has quick easy access to the beach and walking trail that is steps from the condo. No car is needed to go to the beach or to go for a walk/run. The property is also close to the main highway for quick and easy access to shopping and other Destin activities. This unit is also very kid friendly. We had our 4-year-old and 22-month-old with us and they loved this unit as well. They had a blast playing on the balcony and watching all the people and the sightseeing helicopter that flew by many times a day. The on sight amenities are also amazing. There is a pool that I've mentioned and a hot tub, grills, picnic tables, and easy parking. We highly recommend this unit.

Great location to the beach

Perfect location, just walk across the street and you're on the beach. My Vacation Haven needs to throw out all of the decorations, mattresses, patio furniture, dining table and chairs and kitchen utensils and gadgets and start over. Looks like they did their shopping at Goodwill or a local thrift store, so everything is tacky looking, mismatched and/or broken. The wicker furniture on the patio is rotted and broken, the metal chairs on the patio are rusted - so we stood and enjoyed the view - just couldn't sit on anything without fear of falling through it or breaking. The couch and arm chair look new and were comfortable, but not to sleep on - needs a new sleeper mattress. Forget getting an accurate code for the pool - the ones listed on the app DO NOT WORK, and no one bothered to ever send a correct one even after asking. There is a binder in the unit that evidently belonged to an owner from 10 years ago, so nothing in it is current. There was no parking pass in the unit and had to wait for a "runner" to bring one the following day. The location and the sheets for the beds were the only high quality things inside the unit. The potential is there for this unit to be better - but the company that owns it will have to cough up some money to make it better and higher end. If you don't mind the yard sale look on the inside, you'll be fine.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The unit was nice. We believe the management company was unorganized. They threaten to fine you if the discount card in the unit is missing when you leave. Our unit did not have a discount card upon arrival, had to call about that. They threaten a fine if you do not have your dishes washing in the dishwasher when leaving. We could not get our dishwasher to work, had to call about that. They charge $170 cleaning fee to clean up after you leave, even though you take out the trash and get dishes in dishwasher. However, it would have been even better if they would have cleaned the unit prior to our arrival. Dust on surfaces, hair in tub, sink and bathroom floor. Hairs laying around make us very unhappy. We cleaned it up, as we had to. We may recommend this unit as it was modern and a nice location. If renting this unit we would advise to confirm with management that it gets cleaned prior to arrival and that they keep up their end of the bargain. They delivered the discount tag, but it was too late for us to use it, as we had a short stay.

The only complaint I have was no sheets were provided for the sofa bed. The can opener and some of the utensils were rusted. The broom that was provided was broken. I contacted management with no response, so I went and bought one so I could keep the floors swept. Overall it was a wonderful experience because of the location to the beach. Would recommend staying there again.

Reviewer Comments: Overall the condo was fairly nice and clean but there were a few things that could have been updated/ changed (bedroom tv is tiny, small appliances were very dated). Half of the balcony patio furniture (2 chairs) was held together with black electrical tape and the other half (wicker chair) the bottom was busted out of and would be dangerous to sit on. On day 2 of our stay the pool and hot tub were drained to be refinished without any notice to us. It was a very loud process most of the day so we weren't able to enjoy our view or the pool/hot tub. I sent a text curious if I had missed some sort of notification that the pool and hot tub would not be in use during our stay with no response.

I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Needs updated really bad. Rooms were not like pictures. Very old looking. Tv in living room didn’t work. Hair dryer didn’t work. Missing lights in bathroom. Very small tv in bedroom. Pool code did not work. We tried all 5 of them. It’s a good location to the beach.

Wedding weekend

Our daughter got married on the Saturday of our stay. The rehearsal and wedding was at the beach directly across the street, so it was very useful to just be across the street for a few older family members to be able to wait until right before the wedding. It was a great place with beautiful views.
