Red Roof Inn-accommodaties in Detroit

'Considering this is a budget motel, the room was relatively clean. The grounds were a mess. Not much in terms of restaurants or food options in the area. There were a couple shelves of snacks and food for sale in the lobby, but no utensils or can openers on the premises. I heated up water for the instant noodles in the coffee pot and had food poisoning the next day. The person at the desk was understanding and as helpful as she could be, but there was nothing she could do.'

'Staff was rude'

'Absolutely filthy! Everything, the room, especially the floor and small pieces of carpet that looked as though they haven't been clean in quite some time. The TV remote didn't work, then a staff member brought another one (took it from another room,) that one needIf you're on a very strick budget, well, it's a place to stay, other stay elsewhere.'

'For the price you can't beat this recently remodeled Red Roof. Great location close to M-59. Very quite night and day. Pet friendly and the grounds are cleaner than most expensive hotels. Staff is absolutely amazing.'

'There was a very harsh ammonia/urine smell in our room. We asked to move and were told there were no other rooms. Booked a 2 bed and were given 1 bed. The remote control was chewed and had corroded batteries in it. Stains on sheets and towels. Floor was dirty and sticky.'

'The room was not what we expected. The beds were hard as a rock. The pillows were so thin they were barely considered pillows. We had no refrigerator. The cabinet was empty, where the refrigerator used to be. The bathroom was important condition. The toilet was barely flushing. the faucet was extremely loose. The pool was closed while we were there for cleaning, but we never saw anyone actually cleaning it and as far as the breakfast goes, it’s a bagel and a waffle or a bowl of cereal were not...
