Hotels in de buurt van Dhowa Rock Temple (Ella)

'The room was excellent. Had everything I needed. Only thing I would add is an additional plug socket to the room. Melani was phenomenal from the start and throughout, she went above and beyond making sure I had everything I needed. Breakfast was made fresh every morning and Melani checked what I wanted and even accommodated things like getting low fat options, which she didn’t need to do. The star of this hotel besides the staff is the view from the balcony! Looking out onto Ella was lovely,...

'I wish I could like this place more but there were a few things which would make me reconsider booking if I had known upfront. Firstly, the driveway is a pain but can deal with it if known upfront, front desk was very accommodating taking our luggage up the hill to our van. Room 103 was a family room but directly above the reception and bar, so expect loud tuk tuks and music from the bar until about 11.30pm. Overall it was 3/5 - not bad, not amazing.'

'This is the place to stay if you come to Ella. It could not have been more perfect. You wake up to stunning views of the mountains and the most delicious homemade traditional breakfast. You can walk straight from the home to town or to hikes and popular sights. It keeps you out of the hustle and bustle of the street so you can really enjoy your stay. 11/10, loved my stay here. If I come back to Ella, I would love to stay again!'

'Buona struttura, ottimo host, molto disponibile e cortese. Colazione tipica. Facilmente raggiungibile a piedi (1km) dalla via principale di Ella.'

'The staff were really annoying. On the first day, they kept coming to my room for every little detail, and I didn’t have any privacy. The next day, my breakfast was 40 minutes late. The bed was also not clean and had a strong, unpleasant smell from the anti-mosquito spray. The food was very basic as well. It was advertised as a “yoga and meditation retreat,” but when I asked about joining a yoga class, they said they would get back to me. I never received any confirmation. Considering the...

'Indran and John were so kind and helpful. They really made us feel at home. John''s cooking was delicious, the view from our balcony was spectacukar, and our room was clean and comfortable. We loved our stay at the Ella Alpine Resort.'

'Good Hospitality'

'I loved this hotel it's so good, cheap, comfortable rooms I got the one with balcony and it was amazing i even could see the sunrise in the morning. The staff is amazing and supportive I got everyday bottles of water and good breakfast and even tuk tuk to go everywhere. It's very quiet around and a great walk from the hotel to the main road.'

'The property didn’t have our booking so after 1/2h waiting around not knowing what was happening, they arranged another room somewhere else for us. The other hotel was much cheaper and not as nice so we agreed as long as we had a compensation for the inconvenience and price difference it was fine. The owner agreed to give us free dinner and breakfast. The next day they gave us the bill for both, plus asked us to pay for the new room threatening to call the police (but I had already paid...

'Heerlijke plek boven aan berg met uitzicht op waterval. Als je dit aangeeft komt iemand je aan de mainroad ophalen zodat je het steilere stuk niet hoeft te rijden. Hele vriendelijke eigenaar heerlijk ontbijt en echt de moeite waard. Als je van een beetje beweging houdt dan loop, over de trappen, binnen 45 minuten naar Ella'

'혼자 여행하기에 가성비 좋았습니다. 관리도 잘 되어 있습니다.'

'Very Nice hostess, bed good. What could beteer: No hot water, breakfast was good but very small portion'

'Clean room, friendly staff, helpful and accommodating. Had the best stay there for my birthday '

'Svårt att hitta till hotellet då namnet Glen Rock Ella inte finns på några skyltar. '

'Tranquility and friendly staff'

'Avoid this hotel at all cost. Room is infested with insects, bed bugs and mosquitos. We spent 1 hour just killing insects and sanitising the room before we could unpack. stained bed sheet and hot shower only lasted less than 10 mins and next day still no hot water, electricity supply was on and off at night, the worst was that the hotel manager did not even respond to our messages. In the hall way along the staircase, it’s full of dead wasps lying around. Also we found hair in our dinner...

'It's a really relaxt hotel. It's new and they are still working on it. But it already looks great! The staff is very friendly and helpfull. And the food they make is good! I had a great time here and if I come to Ella again, I will go to Ella Mansion again!'
