'The room did the job - but numerous issues. Missing some basic necessities like a bedside light. Had to use the public wifi from the bar downstairs which was choppy at best. The problems started right from the beginning. Check in according to the website was 10:00pm. But at 8:30pm I had a message saying I wouldn't be able to check in after 9 as the bar shuts at that point. 'I am sorry to say that the property was not what I expected. The area to park in was chaotic with cars parked all over the place so when I arrived after a traumatic journey, I was trying to find a place to park in the pitch black with no lights apart from my car lights. The room was not hoovered. The ‘kitchenette’ was dangerous due to the curtains being close to the air fryer. The toilet seat was loose, broken. There was barely a hello from the owner and he watched as I struggled in the rain...

'This was an excellent find. We stayed 1 night in the “attic” room, which met all our needs. The entry instructions and directions to the property were also very clear. An added bonus was the local pub “The Torbay”, which was surprisingly busy for a Tuesday. The food was great. The self serve continental breakfast was fine. Liked the quirkiness of the room, would stay again'

'Hot bath tap didn't work so moved to another room. The curtains in there were so thin that the outside lights were so bright in my room and made it really hard to sleep. The whole place needs an upgrade. Beautiful building but lots of damp water leak patches in ceilings of corridors and in therestaurant.'
