'I had an issue with this hotel in the past where we asked for a late check-out to which we were granted, but the manager took it upon himself to then enter our room when I walked a load out... just as my wife was getting out of the shower. It was a whole big ordeal where I almost got the police involved and after this stay, I almost wish I had. It's been a few years since we've been to this location and it's under new management but I'll be damned if the same thing didn't happen this morning!...

'The lobby was bright and inviting. The room was clean and spacious, very comfortable seating choices. The staff seemed friendly and helpful. The stay was better than some places but not excellent. Maintaining things properly is a detail that makes the difference. The box spring on the bed broke, the pancake machine was broken and not expected to be fixed for weeks, one of the pieces of workout equipment did not work and another did not work properly. We had hoped for better.'

'Everything was great! The place was clean, staff was nice, and breakfast was great! Only other comments about the room are some nicks in the bath tub porcelain, the bathroom door hinges were loose, and some stains in the carpet on the hallway carpet just outside my door. These aren't complaints-- I just hope I don't get billed for any damage. But yeah, everything was great! '

'Perfect place for a base of operations for a girls weekend for the local Arts Festivals. Outstanding front desk employees, upbeat, friendly, just nice to always be greeted with enthusiasm. Basic clean room with kitchen. Enjoyed the full size refrigerator. No maid service, but knew that when I booked. Conveniently located to restaurants, highway & campus at MSU. Very budget friendly. I will return.'
