'A hidden gem. We are hoping to make this our annual couple's retreat. Great location, gorgeous room and we would happily have sat out the back watching the waterfall over a drink forever. The only drawback, and it feels like a big one, is that we have to go back to our normal life now.'

'Thank you for a lovely, peaceful stay in your off-grid space, so thoughtfully laid out and welcoming. Kaipara Flats is a special place, and so conveniently near to the humming town of Warkworth, plus to the beautiful Kaipara Hills. Thank you again'

'Lovely weekend and location peaceful.Andrew was very helpful when we needed him.'

'Cozy little studio with an awesome view of the farm. Comfortable bedding, sweet little lounge and kitchen facilities. 10mins drive to Helensville supermarket. We stayed 2 nights while attending a wedding at Kumeu Valley Estate. '

'Very cute, warm cosy room. Tastefully decorated and such an amazing shower with a rain head as well!! Easy checkin, just a 5 minute walk to little manly beach and a short 5 minute drive to Whangaparoa shopping centre. All in all a beautiful spot and place. Just be aware there isn’t a full kitchen, just the usual toaster, capsule coffee machine and hot water kettle. The hosts gave a nice little touch couple of chocolates each upon arrival as well.'

'Lovely property in a good location with short walk to Matakana Village. Very clean and quality fittings. We would like to have had a microwave for convenience and lack of a TV seems a bit odd. Otherwise a very comfortable option for a couple.'

'The rolling hills and local countryside were a great backdrop to this cute place to stay.'

'We really enjoyed oyr stay away here. Feels incredibly secluded and private. Loved the little thouches, breakfast in tbe fridge, home grown lemons and the room warmed before we areived.'

'A well appointed, spotlessly clean, and oh so comfortable hideaway, with lovely bush views. Hearing kiwi calling in the night and kākā during the day added to the feeling of being somewhere very special. Our hosts were lovely, and generous with their time and suggestions of things to do. The bach is just up the road from the Tawharanui Open Sanctuary (and night-time kiwi spotting), and the Matakana Market and Cinema are just 10 minutes away. We'll be back!'
