Not worth the price tag
This hotel is not worth the price point. They have one elevator, which was broken while I was there. They first tried to give me a room which had an unbearable smoke smell, even though the hotel is supposedly non-smoking. It has very few amenities. I had to ask twice for soap for the bathroom sink. The rusted toilet paper holder wouldn't even hold toilet paper. I supposedly had a sea view, though the hotel is a number of blocks from the sea. The Sheraton was nearly the same price and 10x nicer. I would not choose the Atlantic again. The staff was very nice, though!

Nice hotel in the center of the center. Place de Menelik was just around the corner from a number of decent restaurants. My only disappointment was the water was warm not hot for bathing. Otherwise, good stay.

To start: the level of service in this place is great. They had a free airport transfer, then the check-in was fast and efficient and they were able to organize us an excursion to countryside. We had an evening flight and they gave us a late check-out which made our last day perfect. With few options in Djibouti city, this is THE place to stay. When you want to have a central location, look no further.

For Djibouti it met our needs. any where else it would have been over price but in Djibouti it is reasonable. Staff was very good. Only real complaint was that there was no hot water in the shower.

Staff are fantastic! Rooms are spacious and hotel is central. Have stayed here four times over the last month and wouldn't consider staying anywhere else. It's truly a home away from home and staff make me feel like a valued member each time I come back. They are very efficient at booking airport shuttles and letting you use the shuttle for city drop off and pick up (tip the driver the standard DJF 1,000).

The hotel room is normal size, but need renovation. Every day staff changed my towels and sheets, but the new ones was old,leaky with the holes on them. The bathroom needs renovation - old bath with old shower. The hot water was not so hot. The only good in the hotel was breakfast.

A good experience. A nice hotel at a moderate price. Staff really tries to make you comfortable. Not in an upscale neighborhood but I always felt safe and secure. And I loved my view of the Red Sea! I would definitely stay here again!
