Log Cabin near NC Wine Trail & Public Fishing - Pet Friendly

This unique cabin was recently renovated and is constructed out of tobacco barn logs which are over 100 years old. It's a modern, rustic getaway in a rural atmosphere with scenic surroundings for adults only.

We hope this cabin will be a restful and restorative place for couples, for friends, or for someone to enjoy a quiet retreat alone in a peaceful setting. A place to reset, recharge and experience this charming part of NC in a way that feels simple and unforgettable.

This cabin is perfect for visiting the many wineries in the area, or the charming towns of Elkin and Mount Airy. Stone Mountain State Park is also a short drive away. Public fishing in the Mitchell River is 5 minutes away. This is not a secluded cabin in the middle of the woods. We live across the street and the cabin is off a lightly used country road.

Front Porch
Step outside on your private, elevated, covered country porch where mornings begin with soft sunlight spilling over the valley and evenings under the endless stars. Listen to the sounds of the babbling creek across the road. A gas grill is provided for making your favorite meals.

Bedroom
A memory foam topped, comfortable queen size bed with quality linens as well as black out curtains make for a great night's sleep. There are 2 luggage racks in the closet for your convenience.

Laundry
In the bedroom closet is a full size washer and dryer. Detergent is under the kitchen sink, as well as a hand -held clothes steamer.

Living Room
A comfortable couch that converts to a queen size bed. (Linens provided when requested only). Two leather recliners are wonderful for reading a book or watching your favorite movie on the Smart TV with access to your favorite streaming (log in required).

Kitchen
All new appliances, full size fridge, microwave, dishwasher and oven with cooktop. A coffee maker which brews a pot of coffee or uses k-cups. Electric tea kettle available, with complimentary coffee and tea. Basic spices and oil available for cooking.

Bathroom
A brand new bathroom thoughtfully stocked with all the essentials.

Fenced Side Yard
For your fur babies. Please clean up after your pet. Scooper provided.

Parking
There isn't a designated driveway. You can safely park right in front of the cabin.

Guest access
Guests have access to the cabin, deck and yard space. Across the road is private property.

Pet Friendly - 2 dog maximum
$25 pet fee per dog
No other pets allowed due to allergies.
