'Always real welcoming staff'

'Loved this beautiful old hotel, the staff were all friendly and welcoming. Very conveniently located in the historic downtown. My only hesitation to recommend it to some folks would be if you went the wrong direction you would quickly enter a small group of homeless people. 'The property was wonderful. The garden area has a beauitful koi pond with lush landscaping. The rooms were large and comfortable. Breakfaat was delicious, well stocked and constantly resupplied. The staff was very helpful, courteous and kind. There are homeless all over Eureka, and here was no exception, but cameras and security kept them off the property. 'This hotel reminded us of the glory days of Eureka. The room was nice, but a bit noisy as we needed open windows at night, which lets in traffic noise. The architecture of the place is great. All the staff are personable, friendly, and helpful. '

'het hotel heeft ons echt verrast en de kamers waren in positieve zijn compleet anders dan op de foto. De kamers waren namelijk compleet vernieuwd en gemoderniseerd. Verder is het qua geluid heel rustig en je hoord letterlijk niets, dus ook niet de weg waar het hotel aanligt. Ook de wifi was prima en lekker snel. In de buurt vind je overigens veel restaurants waar je heerlijk kan eten.'

'I have stayed many times at this Red Lion as I have property in the area. The staff are invariably friendly and helpful. Areas that might be addressed that twice now when I take a shower before bed, the hot water is just luke warm. Secondly, the large parking lot often seems littered a bit and open to break-ins. There could also be a lamp on the table that has outlets for computers, etc. '

'Its a nice motel, quiet, clean, pet friendly of course. I used to live over in this area in some apartments behind the small shopping center next to it and I feel its pretty safe. They have cameras installed around the motel though for guests peace of mind. Its got restaurants And Jitter Bean right across the street super convenient.. warm place to stay for a night or 2. Alao the shower handle fell off while turning it one and they were very nice about it and offered a change of room immediately...
