'Check in was quick and easy. Everything was ready when we got there. The upstairs toilet sounds like it is going to take off but it worked. We loved sitting on the deck and seen a few deerbut no bear. May need deck re placed soon as well as picnic table. Grandsons wanted things to do beside TV but enjoyed playing cards in the evening. None of the items I mentioned kept us from having a great time. Would stay there again'

'Check in was not as streamlined as other properties we have stayed in during our travels. Inconvenient, but not difficult. Much prefer digital door codes in lieu of having to go out of way to find office to pick up keys. The large cleaning fee was interesting considering the required cleaning list tennants MUST complete in order to not be charged even more cleaning fees. 'We booked a cabin in Harman, upon arrival the drive way was to steep and unsafe. We ended up backwards going down allegany mountain hitting the guardrail sliding all the way to bottom of the mountain backwards. The host refused to help us out, we drove all the way back to Elkins to get a hotel for the night. We emergently booked this cabin for the remainder of our stay. 'It was a rustic cabin, it had power, microwave, a good size fridge. Easy to get to, could park right out front. Had use of our own port-a-potty. Walking distance to the creek. Kids loved playing it in. Dog friendly. Owner was very friendly. We happen to come during out of normal hot temps… but at night still very comfortable. WiFi is only at the main house and had bring being our own bedding, that was unclear on this site… but on the main website it’s much more clear. Thanks again! If I ever...

'the proprety was clean, nice and absoultly lovely me and my woman had a wonder time and expierance. the Crows Nest is extrealy charming and on point can we move in permantly.....lol... BTW when will the place just up the hill be completed and ready for rent.... BTW will will be cominning back!!!!!'

Fully equipped kitchen is a plus. Easy access to Thomas and Davis by car, or Thomas by foot path.The furnace fan motor was so loud the floor vibrated. Eventually noise disappeared. Internet router lost connectivity daily. I texted owner; no reply. Router looks old. Hauling out trash at end of stay was not...

'Very quiet and private. Kitchen was stocked with cooking necessities and had some seasoning, flour, and sugar. Host was great about returning messages and making your stay comfortable. Came to a warm cabin because they started the woodstove for us. They also left snacks and cookies. The cabin was in a good location. Close enough to the main road, but far enough it was quiet and peaceful. It was nice sitting outside by the fire and not seeing anyone or hearing traffic go by.'
