My family and I wanted to explore the Cortez area for a mini vacation. I picked this property because of the location, price, and seclusion. This property is an apartment in a house which concerned me at first, but then I realized that the rest of the house is garage and work space. The owners' house is on the property, just a few hundred yards away. Fortunately, my concerns for lack of privacy were unnecessary. We rarely saw anyone. We did see horses, cows, sheep, chickens, deer, goats, dogs,, cats, birds, hawks, amazing fruit trees, gorgeous landscape yard surrounded by fields, views of mountains and Mesa, fabulous sunsets, and more. My teenage girls were in heaven with all of the animal life. Lori Cooper was helpful, kind, and gracious. The location was perfect as it was in between Dolores and Cortez, hubs for outdoor activity and cultural exportation.
