  • Onze Balinese Limasan, gelegen langs de Escaleras Ridge, is de perfecte schuilplaats in Costa Rica.
    Honderd jaar oude teak post-en-balk structuur met moderne afwerkingen perfect uitgerust voor een paar om te ontspannen en te genieten van de jungle, de natuur en het ongelooflijke uitzicht op de oceaan.
    Stel op een comfortabele hoogte met koele bries en geen verkeer.
    Gelegen in Costa Verde Estates, de belangrijkste ontwikkeling in de zuidelijke zone van Costa Rica. De Suite Dream is ontworpen en gebouwd als een ontsnapping voor koppels. Om naar dit prachtige heiligdom te komen, is een rit van 7 kilometer 4X4 nodig naar de top van de Escaleras Ridgeline (4x4 voertuig vereist om Costa Verde Estates te bereiken). Costa Verde is een veilige, omheinde gemeenschap met luxe voorzieningen, waaronder een fitnessruimte en een full-size tennisbaan.
    Ons eigendom grenst aan een maagdelijke jungle vallei vol met dieren in het wild.
    Zit stil en kijk naar de apen, coatimundi, luiaards en vogels die op en neer door de vallei komen.
    Episch oneindig uitzicht op Ballena Bay en het Osa-schiereiland, Tail of the Whale en Cańo Island, een van de meest bliksemstralen op aarde.
    Op 800 voet hoogte geniet u van koele briesjes en verlichting van de kustwarmte.
    Zachte briesjes houden het klimaat de hele dag en nacht perfect.

    Propaan grill en brander op rollende kar, zodat u kunt koken op de veranda terwijl u geniet van de geweldige omgeving.

    Winkel op zaterdagochtend in de openluchtboer om de grote koelkast op te slaan. Hoogwaardige producten zijn overal verkrijgbaar!
    Er zijn veel mooie stranden in de omgeving, waaronder het beroemde "Tail of the Whale" Nationaal Park, Ventanas, Hermosa en Dominical, de thuisbasis van surfen van wereldklasse. Restaurants met gerechten uit de hele wereld zijn er in overvloed in Uvita, Dominical en Ojochal. We eten regelmatig en onderschrijven de plaatsen die u hieronder zult zien geadverteerd.

Beautiful home, as pictured. Remote and private with great wildlife watching- we were able to watch the whales from the balcony which was incredibly special. Tom is a great host, and very easy to communicate with.

The breathtaking views from Villa Sea Forever are magnificent. There’s no reason to leave the property — the exclusive area and private setting, the jungle surroundings and wildlife all around, as well as the luxurious amenities and gracious host. With all that said though, the home is well located for exploring an area of Costa Rica that has yet to be overrun by tourists and maintains its authentic feeling and access to nature. We had a wonderful stay. It was perfect. Thank you.

The listing pictures of this home are beautiful, and it somehow is even more beautiful in person. The views of the ocean and the rain forest are magical. The whole home is designed to engage you with nature, yet is still quite comfortable. Unforgettable, once in a lifetime experience.

Amazing, one of the best house rentals I have ever stayed at. One thing to note, don’t drive to the house in the dark for the first time. A 4x4 car is REQUIRED.

Absolutely amazing location!

This was our second stay at this property and the view continues to amaze. Love the open feel of the house, lots of birds, coatis in the trees, howler monkeys heard in the distance, jungle living at its finest. Wonderful place to relax. The drive to the main road is around 15 minutes, yes it is steep, but not unusual for Costa Rica, don’t let that keep you from experiencing this wonderful property. Hope to return again sometime.

We were heartbroken when we had to cancel our reservation 2 days before departure due to a broken ankle. Thomas had given us so much information about the property and the area that we were as excited as children. Our plans are to book next year at the same time!!

This place is a literal post card. We are so happy to have found this place. Not only is the house beautiful but the views are absolutely breathtaking. Thomas was so helpful with everything. Six of us (3 couples) spent 7 nights and thoroughly enjoyed our time here. The house has plenty of outdoor space, including the kitchen, 2 levels of decks, plus the infinity pool, all overlooking the Pacific in the distance. The surrounding forest provides plenty of privacy, and connection with nature. The upper bedroom suite is very spacious and had everything we could ask for. Most nights, we just opened up the sliding glass doors to enjoy the sounds of the rainforest and were quite comfortable with the A/C turned off.We did have a few issues - a couple power outages, no water supply & a failed water pump during our stay. Having spent time in Costa Rica a few other times, we know that power outages are not uncommon. The water being cut off to the area was something new, but Thomas kept us up to date on the efforts to restore the water supply to the community. When the water pump at the property failed, he was responsive and had it replaced quickly. His communication was greatly appreciated and made it easier to enjoy ourselves each day, knowing that any issues were being taken care of for us. A couple of suggestions would be: - include instructions in the welcome package about how to deal with the entrance gate during a power outage. - improve the wifi coverage to include the pool area.We would definitely recommend this property to others and given the opportunity, would gladly stay here again.

Amazing place and views, but a journey

The house was beautiful and well appointed. It is magical to wake up from your bed and see the Pacific! The location provided beautiful views and intimate privacy but you have to be willing to take a 15-20 minute harrowing drive one way to get to the house or back to the main road. This makes a daily “daytrip” the most plausible option where you leave in the morning and return after dinner. We got evening rains regularly so the drive back up was even more interesting. The area is fantastic however, with many different beaches, nearby towns and restaurants.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND! SPECIAL EXPERIENCE!

Extraordinary is the word that comes to mind. We loved this place from the view to the energy to the vibe to the privacy and tranquility. If you want to get away to a stunningly beautiful and serene place, this is it. You DEFINITELY will NEED a 4x4 to access the property from the highway. So worth it though!!!! Owners are extremely attentive, thorough and responsive. This Balinese Limosan is truly spectacular in every way. We were so grateful to have this experience and to witness beautiful Toucans off the deck each day, hear the Howler Monkeys and the privacy and freedom to shower outdoors in nature. Highly, highly recommend. It’s so worth it.

True Paradise

This house is truly incredible. The first morning I woke up to the sweeping view and sounds of the jungle I couldn’t stop smiling. Pay attention to the requirement for a 4 wheel drive car. The drive into the neighborhood is no joke. If my husband didn’t have off road experience I would not have done it. The room set up worked great for us (2 adults, kids 16, 14 & 8) but if I had younger kids the separate rooms would have felt too far from the primary suite. We spent hours in the pool, watching the jungle wildlife and enjoying the relaxing vibe. Tom, the owner, was incredibly helpful and communicative.

Unique house with incredible views

Paradise. Tranquility. Jungle house with endless ocean views. The only drawback was that it took 25 minutes of heroine 4X4 driving on an incredibly steep road to get to the house from the main road. That ruled out a quick morning surf or walk on the beach and back to the house. You drive down and up once per day. You need a 4x4 vehicle with good power and good clearance and do NOT arrive at night. It took us +4 hrs of drive time between house and San Jose airport so plan accordingly. The mornings and evenings by the infinity pool were magic. We saw many animals in the jungle around us.

Our stay at Villa Sea Forever was pretty incredible. As stated in other reviews, arriving for the first time in daylight is best. The first drive up is quite a ride, especially if you're not used to Costa Rican backroad driving. Slow and steady with the 4 wheel drive and you'll be fine. After driving up and down a time or two, it gets not only easier, but fun.The experience of being at this property was like falling into nature. With everyday life being so overstimulating and busy, being here first felt a bit discomfiting. But waking up to the sunrise over the Pacific and the abundant sounds of nature, you can't help but melt into it all. It's just so relaxing and tranquil on that ridge. We had multiple days with later scheduled activities, which worked out perfectly as we were then able to take advantage of the mornings there, which were the best part of the day. The sun rises around 5:15ish and the following couple hours have the best nature viewing/listening. The paragliding and ziplining suggestions from Thomas were awesome and so much fun. Thomas was also great with communications during our stay. The washer was on the fritz while we were there and he was very responsive. A general note -we found a huge improvement in nighttime bugs when we did NOT use the LED lights over the stove in the kitchen or the pool lights. If you are comfortable with nature and a little adventure, I highly recommend this property. I'm glad I found it and was able to experience it!

The Perfect Getaway

The experience we had last week was, in a word, perfect. The pictures of Villa Sea Forever are accurate but do not do the view and the experience justice. We felt like we were at the edge of the world with our own view of paradise. The Villa itself is incredible, very thoughtfully designed to bring the view in and extremely well stocked for a relaxing experience. We loved leaving the screens open at night, taking a dip in the morning and enjoying our coffee with the sunrise and the views. And the location is perfect for hiking, surfing, diving, ATVs, any number of tours, the beach, waterfalls, too much to list. The Owner was extremely attentive and very helpful. The Welcome letter was very detailed and easy to understand, finding the Villa was easy with Waze and questions were answered very quickly and he gave many recommendations on actives, dining, etc. It is clear they love the place and it shows with the attention to detail and their willingness to ensure guests have a great experience. Anyone looking for an amazing Costa Rican experience, look no further. We can't thank them enough for a great week.

Our stay started beautifully, but several issues at the end prompted this review.Location Accuracy: The property is advertised as 15 minutes from the beach, but it's actually 30 minutes. The access road alone takes 20-25 minutes to navigate.Maintenance Issues: The refrigerator leaked significantly multiple times. Despite the host's later claim, he never offered a repairman—we found and fixed the water line leak ourselves.Power Outages: We experienced 3 consecutive days of outages. The 2nd time, we located the breaker outside the gate ourselves (no instructions provided in the welcome book). The remote location meant no cell service during outages, making communication impossible.The 3rd outage was critical. It occurred on our final day while half our group was at the beach. Our vehicle was trapped outside the locked gate. We couldn't shower, flush toilets, or see while packing. We hauled luggage and trash up the steep driveway upon departure. We found no manual gate override instructions or keys, despite visible keyholes. Had we not gone to town earlier, we'd have been locked in and missed our flights.When we raised these legitimate safety concerns, Thomas became defensive and accused us of blackmail. For the premium price paid, we expected professional service and acknowledgment of valid safety issues—not hostility.The property itself is gorgeous with amazing wildlife, but the host's unprofessionalism when addressing fair concerns greatly soured the experience.

Vacation in Heaven

My husband and I fell madly in love with this property and Uvita. Leaving SJO was scary due to traffic but once we got out of the city we felt better. The drive is about three hours from SJO so I would suggest making sure you have daylight your first day finding the home. You do need a 4x4, 4WD to get up the mountain. We honestly didn’t want to come back home to Texas once our 6 days were up. A Coati came up on the patio one morning while I was sitting in a chair. We slept with the glass doors open every night while having the fans on and it never got hot. We both slept so good each night. The sunrise and sunset every day is breathtaking. You can hear the monkeys in the trees right in front of the home. The first night it scared me but once I realized they are harmless I enjoyed them. I cannot say enough positive things about this home and it’s perfect location. We will definitely be back to CR and we will be staying at this home again.

Absolute paradise

My wife and I just returned from Villa Sea Forever, and I can tell you that we absolutely loved it. We visit Costa Rica every year and the serenity and privacy of this property is incredible. I can tell you to take Thomas’ advice and arrive before nightfall your first day. Unfortunately, we did not take that advice and arrived after dark, and the drive up the mountain is a little daunting to say the least.but once you find the property it’s not very difficult the rest of the week.since we arrived in the dark we woke the next morning in complete awe of the stunning view from our master suite. It is even more spectacular than the pictures.we felt as though we were the only ones on the mountain with jungle surrounding us and a magnificent view of the Pacific Ocean and the whales tail.The master suite itself is incredible, very spacious with huge terrace to just sit and listen to all the birds and jungle critters.. you will never want to leave.The pool is very large with spectacular views as well.The design of the house is very unique with its outdoor kitchen, and although we did not cook very much , everything you need is there for you.( keep in mind that there is no oven,just a stovetop and microwave.we opted to eat out most days, and I would highly recommend Scala restaurant and cafe which is about halfway down the mountain.its a little pricey but very good.. All in all a wonderful experience and many thanks to Thomas for allowing us to share this piece of heaven Pura Vida

Perfect get away

We were a little worried about the weather as we visited during rainy season: never listen to the weather forecast!! It was beautiful every morning and rained late afternoon. The villa is even better than presented. Lots of stuff already supplied by previous visitor (coffee, sugar, vodka (!!). It’s well supplied to cook for two! We could see monkeys and toucans from our patio. We saw a lot of coatis each day almost. The villa is well ventilated at night so you sleep well. Morning comes early with the birds! The ride up to the villa is a little nerve wrecking the first time. Afterwards you get used to it the very next day. Be sure to specify automatic transmissions! I got a shift stick and it was a thrill but you need to be proficient. Do not go up that road on a shift stick if you are nervous of inexperienced! I recommend the jolly roger bar going up! Beautiful view and Absolutely amazong wings / cocktails. Tom gave us great info and useful tips. Beautiful trip, beautiful view, charming villa!!!

Amazing Views

While the pictures just don't do the view justice, the property is as described in the description. My wife and I stayed at the property for a week and enjoyed the seclusion and privacy of this property and experience of being emerged in the jungle that surrounds it. It truly allowed us the opportunity to relax and unwind.Many other reviews have commented on the drive to the property. With even a little experience driving on dirt roads, this was not as daunting as it has been described. A 4WD vehicle is needed, but the drive is what allows the property to be as remote as it is and the view to be outstanding. We would leave each day to do something (whale watching tour / ATV etc), come back for a relaxing afternoon by the pool and then go back to town to watch the sunset and have dinner. The drive takes around 15-20 min from the main road, but was well worth it! The wildlife around the property was abundant. We saw toucans, monkey, tons of butterflies, coati and many other bird species we had never seen before everyday while relaxing by the pool. You do need to be conscious of food and trash around the kitchen as some of that wildlife is very curious. We did have a few instances in which the electric went out, but came back relatively quickly and wasn't too much of an inconvenience.The house integrates the outdoors well. We were surprised at the lack of bugs (except for abundant cicadas).Overall - loved staying at the property and will be back again soon!
