'Excellent room. Great in room amenities. Feels more like a luxury apartment than a hotel room. Extremely comfortable, spotlessly clean. This is a self service hotel. If you are on the second floor be prepared for a long flight of stairs. There is no elevator. Met the owner on my way in. Great lady. We had a lovely chat, she is doing great things to revitalize the city. Gracious and happy to offer recommendations on dining. '

'This place was perfect for our short stay in Rocky Mount. We were only in town for 2 nights for a wedding but dislike hotels. We were able to cook several meals in the well stocked kitchen, relaxed on the nice porch, and enjoyed the quiet of the neighborhood. The location is great- conveniently close to stores and easy highway access but far enough away that you don't hear traffic noise!
