'Good location, opposite the beach and walking distance to shops, bars and transport links. Staff very friendly and helpful. Great choice of breakfast in the morning and rooms are clean and spacious. Stayed for 4 nights and would definitely recommend the Inglewood and hope to come back soon. '

'Lovely hotel. My room was very homely and comfortable. I was on the top floor so had a view of the sea, which was only a couple of minutes walk away. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend and would definitely stay here again. '

'A very well appointed hotel on the Seafront of Douglas. Staff freindly and restaurant was very good. French style menu. The hotel has kept its early years character whilst implementing modern touches to compliment the decor. Room was spacious and again well appointed with all you need, tea/coffee making, flat screen tv, fridge with water snd plenty sockets/ USB charge points. Highly recommend.'

'Not only is the hotel in a great location, it is clean and modern but best of all, friendly. Every member of staff we met was excellent and couldn't do enough for us. The restaurant in the hotel is also excellent, something I've rarely found in hotel restaurants. So good we ate dinner there on two nights.'

'Locatie, restaurant en personeel waren prima! Gebrek aan parkeerruimte (alleen parkeerplaatsen met maximaal 2 uur parkeertijd, of betaalde parkeerplaatsen). Kraan in de badkamer door middel van drukknoppen die maar 3 seconden water geven, wat erg onhandig is als je je handen wast.
Kortom, goed, maar je verwacht iets meer voor deze prijs.'

'Helaas is het hotel aan een algehele renovatie toe; er waren problemen met de watervoorziening, de verwarming, vieze randen langs de ramen, matrassen met springveren die over de datum zijn zodat je de veren voelt zitten, gedoe over de rekening voor het ontbijt (ik dacht dat het er in begrepen was) Het personeel is aan het overleven, ik heb met ze te doen, hun klantvriendelijkheid heeft daar wel onder te lijden.'

The island authorities were digging up the road outside the Hotel in order to create a new Tram system along the front at Douglas. We were so impressed with the Hotel we've booked to stay again in September.. the only negative was that there was no lift, which made things slightly difficult for us but manageable

'En el mismo Castletown no hay mucho que hacer, pero este apartamento estuvo muy bueno. Llegamos y nos recibió una persona que atentamente nos dio las indicaciones del sitio. El apartamento estaba recién remodelado y con detalles muy modenos.
Fácil acceso y justo frente al castillo. La climatización perfecta. La lavadora ni se escucho y función muy bien. Internet muy rápido.
Está a 8 kilómetros fe Douglas y tienes que tomar el camión para llegar a la ciudad.

"Op de fotos lijkt het prachtig maar helaas is het in werkelijkheid niet zo super.
Uiteraard prima geslapen en een hele beleving zo'n binnentuin maar daar is alles mee gezegd. Het is allemaal behoorlijk gedateerd, en ook best wat viezig en kapot..
