'My wife and I celebrated our 25 year wedding anniversary at the Quinta. It's location made it convenient to visit local museums, wineries and Churches. The location also allowed us to explore many nearby small towns for amazing meals and to meet lovely people. Porto is only ~1.4hrs by tollway, which is 90% of the travel. We highly recommend taking the train, just across the Douro in Régua, out to Pocinho for a relaxing lunch and walk around the quaint town before returning. The railway view...

'Zeer compleet ingericht huis. We hebben genoten met ons gezin (vier kinderen: 17,15, 13 en 10 jaar oud) van het huis, zwembad, tuin en het onvergetelijke uitzicht. Op de rivier kun je heel leuk vlakbij een boot huren met een band er achter of waterskiën. Marcos is super behulpzaam bij alles wat je maar kunt bedenken. Echt een plek om terug te komen. Op iets meer dan een uur rijden hebben we met z’n allen canyoning gedaan, ook een aanrader. Het is niet zo’n toeristische streek maar meer dan...
