'The staff were really friendly and helpful. Breakfast very good. Pub had a lovely atmosphere. The beds were very comfortable and the room was very clean.'

Breakfast was delicious and packed lunches were available for us C2C hikers. 'Lovely place. This is a rustic place in the middle of nowhere and is fantastic! Worth all the travel. Staff were amazing. Food was superb. I had the giant Yorkshire pudding with beef bourginon. My room was lovely and the bed comfortable. A very welcoming place even for a single traveller like me. I’m definitely going back at some point! Brilliant'
