The location is wonderful as a rest stop, is next to an In-n-Out, and very close to the American River and wonderful natural hiking spots in Auburn! Old Town Pizza is right around the corner and you are missing out if you don’t get some. Parking lot is nice and the rooms are modernized. Can’t beat for the price and convenience.'

'We stayed for one night at this darling bed and breakfast located in a secluded area in the mountains of Placerville. Our room was comfortable and had the most amazing view of the surrounding valley. The bed was comfortable and we had wine glasses and a wine bottle opener to enjoy our treasures picked up at local wineries that day. Their pool area is amazing! 'Attention needs to be paid to the overflowing garbage I encountered on my way to my room. The place is old but it all seemed clean otherwise once I was in my room. Nothing fancy, but it can get you through a night or two and it's got its own charm.'

'Everything was good here. Loved walking in and seeing the curved staircase even though it meant hauling my luggage up myself. It's a cute place, I felt safe and the staff were friendly. I would definitely stay here again. Had everything I needed. And coffee on the way out.'

'The gentleman at the front desk at check in was very friendly. Other than that the staff that came on later had a terrible attitude, when I asked for a plunger delivered to my room. I had to go to the front desk and leave my special needs son by himself. The room was filthy and smelled like urine. The bathroom tile grout was falling out of the seams and the property was in very poor condition. Definitely not worth $150 a night! Don’t stay here.'
