'A/C in room was faulty or inadequate. We paid for room, plus daily resort fee then they wanted to add on $15 per night for parking - in their massive parking lot (we had 2 cars). Would have given 4-5 stars but the additional parking put it over the top for me.'

'Would not recommend this hotel ever. Staff is unhelpful, and not knowledgeable. Laughed at my questions. Didn't feel like I could even walk barefoot in my room. Wasn't given my VIP perk and had to ask for it. Pool is a glorified bathtub. "Free drink" - but they don't tell you it's only at the restaurant at the top of the hotel. Didn't even feel safe. There were people fighting in the street and could hear cars revving engines all night. Two moths also roomed with us.'

'The Maven Hotel was a delight to visit. We were able to check in early and the room was cute and cozy. The staff at the desk was very helpful and the perks such as free drip coffee and churro from the Kachina was were nice treats. We also took advantage of the free happy hour drink at Poka Lola and had lunch at the Milk Market. It's in a great location and we made frequent use of the in and out valet (tho that seemed pricey at $59). We loved the area around the hotel and it was walking distance...
