We honor and love the Queen of Appalachia so much we named our trolley after her! Inside you'll find Dolly art, sayings, lyrics, photos, books and records. One of the most fun elements of Trolley Parton is the accent lighting. This trolley was retired for a number of years when we fell in love with her and towed her home. We definitely wanted to capture the originality of the old girl but also wanted to make it as functional as a home. You'll find elements of old and new throughout with every detail thought out with intention.
You will love this unique and romantic escape nestled among wildflowers, in the trees, quietly overlooking a manicured rolling pasture. Trolley Parton was created for rest and renewal. For peace and calm. Inside you'll find a Zen Space, a small library, a living area with a bar area, mini fridge, a keurig, k cups and a variety of teas and honey, a record player with classic records of all genres, a sitting tub, queen size bedroom with luxurious bedding and pillows. Outside both doors there is a sprawling 400 square foot deck with relaxing furniture, a solo stove for evening fires, and a smart projector that can be used inside or out. We provide the robes and bath salts. You just have to show up and relax. This property is within 30 minutes of many of Tennessee's finest hikes and waterfalls.
We are also located approximately 7 miles from the city of Sparta as well as Rock Island State Park (opposite direction). Sparta is a great place to do some downtown shopping and antiquing as well as a hub for some delicious food. Rock Island is a fantastic way to spend a few hours or a few days. Excellent hikes and beautiful waterfalls. We also love giving recommendations for food, drink and fun. We are located within 1.5 hours of Nashville, Knoxville AND Chattanooga if you wanted a nice central location for some day trips.
