The apartment is located on Pillnitz-Hosterwitzer Allee, a tree-lined avenue originally laid out in the 18th century and just a 5-minute walk from Pillnitz Castle.
The development of the associated Maille Railway and a section of what is now Laubegaster Straße dates back to 1725.
Across from the Elbe Cycle Path stands the Baroque Schifferkirche Maria am Wasser.
Massage treatments can be booked by appointment at the manual therapy practice on the first floor, and use of the fitness studio is also available by arrangement.
Inside the house, our small sauna awaits you, and in the garden, a small swimming pond with goldfish and a ladder is perfect for cooling off.
The garden also features a fire pit, a smoker grill, and a bike shed.
The apartment can accommodate up to 8 people (including the kitchen-living area, up to four bedrooms are possible) and has a small bathroom with a hair dryer, shower, and heated mirror.
For the little ones, a crib, potty, safety gate, bath stool, and baby bathtub are available upon request.
You’ll also find a fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher, refrigerator, electric kettle, toaster, and an espresso machine (coffee beans provided).
Fresh bed linens and towels, air conditioning, and basic amenities for daily use are provided. There is also a washer and dryer on the first floor.
About the surrounding area.
In addition to Pillnitz Palace with its Baroque grounds and exhibitions, the botanical garden attracts visitors as a peaceful retreat featuring camellias and an orangery.
Across the street, the Schifferkirche Maria am Wasser offers regular guided tours, and right next door is the memorial park with a playground and skate park.
The Elbe Cycle Route, as well as the paddlewheel steamers, invite you to take trips to Saxon Switzerland or the state capital.
A 5-minute walk away, you’ll also find the nostalgic and beautiful Pillnitz Elbe ferry.
The Pillnitz district is also home to the Museum of Decorative Arts, the Alte Wachwitzer Schule studio house, the Carl Maria von Weber Museum, and the Pillnitz Riding Stables.
On the other side of the Elbe, the Laubegast waterfront beckons with the Sommers tavern, HofZwanzig, soft-serve ice cream at Siemank, and a pizzeria.
For hikers, we recommend a vineyard hike through the Pillnitz vineyards, which offers beautiful views and an artificial ruin, as well as the Keppgrund hiking trail with a stop at the Naturschenke and the Zuckerhut observation deck.
There are also opportunities for swimming in Pirna Copitz, Pratzschwitz, and at the Wostra outdoor pool.
Within walking distance is the Van-Gogh-Straße bus stop and a
flower shop, as well as a bakery and a Nahkauf grocery store with a soft-serve ice cream machine.
Several 22-kW Type 2 charging stations are located 500 meters away in the castle parking lot.
And 500 meters in the other direction, you’ll find the spacious Hosterwitz farm store and garden operated by Obstbau Rüdiger.
In town, there is a bike shop with repair services, a pharmacy, a hair salon, a doctor’s office, a dentist’s office, and a Sparkasse bank.
Pillnitz and its surroundings also offer countless places to stop for a bite to eat.
