'I was in Ohio for a family reunion. The puppy could not stay at the lodge at Salt Fork, so I decided to stay at the cabin. I am easily overwhelmed by people and family is not excluded! Retreating to the cabin allowed me the serenity I needed.My only dislike were the unpaved roads. My car sits very low to the ground and the gravel did a number under my car. '

'The house fit our needs perfectly. Is right on the main road but didn’t bother us as made it easy for our day excursions. Enjoyed the hot tub in the morning when the air was chilly.One of the highlights was sitting out on the swing by the river. A bald eagle flew right over us as we sippped on a complimentary glass of wine. Would not hesitate to stay again.'

Some of the smaller trees could be removed for a better view.We were there 4 days and only had 2 dishwasher tablets and turned to hand washing.We cooked in rather than eating elsewhere and generated a lot of trash, but the trash can outside was very small and could not hold it so we bagged it and had to leave inside.One thing that confused us when looking at the house online was there was no picture of a table inside the house which didn't bother us much as there was a...

'Amazing property, huge home, beautiful scenery, pool and hot tub were clean and well taken care of. Kitchen was stocked with everything needed for large group. Very secluded for privacy. Fire pit was perfect for summer evenings. Comfortable beds, soft towels. We very much enjoyed our stay and hope to return. '

Having somewhat of a disability found it a little difficult entering the home without handrails on the porch steps. Also getting up stairs was a little cumbersome without handrails for the staircase. 'Stayed here for a week with the family while in town for a Nationals Competition. Good location, clean, quick/easy check-in/out process and the Owners were nice/responsive. Hot tub was a plus, and all maintenance items were provided. Wasn't sure about sharing the house with commercial space upstairs but was never an issue. The kitchen layout was a bit awkward but provided the necessities. Missed not having a washer/dryer by the end of the week but overall a good option for a quick stay when in...

'Quaint little house. Nothing fancy but comfortable. Had a little musty smell. We opened the windows to let it air out but a small dehumidifier would help eliminate this issue. Just a few minutes from River Greens Golf Course. Walking distance to Rainbow Hills which is a nice little restaurant and brewery/winery. Short drive to Historic Roscoe Village which has lots of little shops, restaurants, and art galleries. Would stay here again. '

'I booked this cabin for a surprise B day gathering for my wife and she loved the place. There were 4 couples that stayed comfortably and other family that came on Saturday for the get together. The place was very nice and the owner was great. Will look to book again in the future. '

"Don't be fooled by the early '90s decor, this is a lovely hotel where you're greeted with a freshly baked chocolate chip cookie after a long journey, making you feel instantly welcome. The personal touch at DoubleTree is truly charming. While the room feels a bit outdated and the air conditioning/heating makes some odd noises that might keep you up at night, overall, it was a pleasant stay."
