The internal appearance of the restaurant, breakfast room and lounge was very pleasing. Our room was small but adequate for a short stay. Bed linen and towels were immaculate. Negatives. Hotel supplied winter duvets which were much too warm for June. Both nights were therefore uncomfortably wam. We stayed a Sunday and Monday night and the restaurant...

'On arrival I was told that I only booked one child where on my booking there was 2 children. Staff was not very welcoming and sleeping when I walked through in the morning. Room ok for what we needed , beds were clean and that’s the main. Bath looks like it could do with being renewed'

'The Mansion House was a very pleasant place to spend our few days in South Wales. The hotel and grounds were kept beautifully and the views over the estuary are just stunning .Breakfasting and dining were of a high standard and from our experience of 5* hotels , deserving of their rating. 'The Hotel has parking first come first serve very Narrow drive through alley. Does not have a dessert menu this is done by staff telling you whats on the menu it also does not have a wine list this is very limited. '

'This is a very well presented, clean, comfortable and roomy property. Comfy bed, good size TV and great shower too. Big supermarkets are only about 1.5 miles away and a restaurant very close by. Parking is right outside. The host had put the heating and lights on for my arrival which was great. Also a selection of tea and coffee was available too. Would recommend.'
