'This was our second stay and it’s a lovely property with wonderful staff that was both friendly and very accommodating…the food in the restaurant and sea deck bar is excellent. Our only complaint was a musty smell in one of the two rooms we rented that was quite overpowering and the lobby fireplace wasn’t working on a cooler day when the patio door was left open. We would definitely stay here again.'

Immaculately presented accommodation, helpful staff and lovely food. The grounds are breathtaking, and the quirkiness of the woods, friendly chickens, peacocks and alpacas make this a place I will re-visit.'

'In a great location in the centre of Oban, with most of the places you would want to visit within walking distance. There is a convenient car park across the street if you need it.
The building is old and full of character, which inevitably impacts on the accommodation - with some ingenious planning of the en-suite bathrooms, but this is more than made up for by the Scottish welcome from the knowledgeable staff.

on arrival we were checked in without any issues,found our room although on the small side it was was we booked, superking bed was clean the room in general was spotless (28) and we had a seaview. Bathroom was clean, all in all a great hotel.

'While I was not there to watch TV, as the weather one day was to wet and windy to go walking I tried the TV. Unfortunately the TV in the lounge area and in the bedroom had minds of their own, and while watching BBC News in the lounge area the TV in the Bedroom started to play a completely different programme!

"Lokatie was top. Om de hoek van treinstation en alle restaurants, winkels enz
Hotel word beetje gerenoveerd. Hotel is gevestigd boven een pub maar dat is niet hinderlijk en geeft sfeer.
De badkamer was niet echt top en de lampen op de nachttkastjes (met opberg ruimte) deden het niet.
Onze nieuwe dure wereldstekker heeft het begeven. Waren 7 stopkontakten.
Het bed lag goed en was lekker breed, netjes en schoon.
Kamer grootte was net aan goed en beschiktte over een tv. De tv stond op een 3 ladenkastje.
Aan de deur hingen hangers om je jas op te hangen.
Sleutel overdracht ging in de pub aan de bar.
Met vriendelijke toegangsdeur instruktie voor het hotel uitleg.
