De Trainee achter de bali heeft ontzettend zijn best gedaan om onze wifi aan de praat te krijgen wat helaas niet lukte. De Keniaanse gastvrouw in de excecutive club was ontzettend aardig. Hun collega Sam, van de receptie, vond het niet de moeite om mee te delen dat de complimetary airporttransfer waar wij ivm onze duurdere kamer recht op hadden, maar op gezette tijden ging en toen hij daar op werd aangesproken konden we er eigenlijk gewoon in stikken. De kamer was redelijk maar de badkamer was ronduit vies. Voor ons geen Arabian Courtyard meer.

Hotel in oude centrum Dubai tegenover museum
Super fijne locatie in het oude Dubai. Recht tegenover museum en op loopafstand om met een bootje over te steken naar de spice en gold soekh. Diverse restaurants in het hotel en levendig er omheen. Gezellige pub in het hotel waar het ook goed eten is.Wil je het nieuwe luxe Dubai...daar ben je zo met een goedkope taxi. Tevens is de stop van de Hop on HOP off bus voor de deur. Aanrader

Was oke dichtbij openbaar vervoer en winkels.
Het hotel ligt in de omgeving van oud Dubai tegenover het Dubai Museum. Makkelijk te bereiken hotel met vriendelijke medewerkers. De kamers zijn ruim en netjes. Elke dag worden de handdoeken ververst en wordt er fruit en 2 flessen water klaargezet. Ruime keuze uit diverse menu's in de restaurants. Het hotel heeft een kleine gym met simpele apparatuur (gratis). Verder zijn er in de spa diverse massage behandelingen mogelijk tegen betaling. Ook het gebruik van de sauna is tegen betaling. Het gebruik van de computerruimte is ook tegen betaling. De airco aan het hoofdeind van de bed is onprettig als koude lucht blaast in je gezicht. De föhn is jammer genoeg niet in de badkamer maar in het slaapgedeelte en heeft geen lange snoer. Het hotel ligt aan een drukke straat en is enigzins gehorig. Inchecken regulier mogelijk vanaf 14:00 PM. Voor eerder inchecken moet een extra toelage worden betaald. Voor de rest een goed hotel. Eerder 3 sterren dan 4.

Hotel vlakbij alle voorzieningen
Alles is op loopafstand, restaurants waar je lekker kan ontbijten en dineren. Het openbaar vervoer is ook op loopafstand. Je kan makkelijk de watertaxi (abra) nemen naar de overkant (Deira) Het hotel is geweldig met vriendelijke personeel.

voor mij 2 sterren hotel
bij aankomst hing spotje geheel naar beneden naast douche, dit werd even vastgezet maar niet goed, bij openen deur badkamer/toilet kwam iedere keer plafond naar beneden en omhoog wat lawaai maakte, kamers erg schoon maar verouderd. ontbijt goed. Ver van modern Dubai. en vooral GEEN gaan geld wisselen in hotel na 5 dagen kwamen wij er achter dat bij wisselkantoor wij bijna 70 euro in DHR meer kregen op wisselen 500 euro voelde mij eigenlijk bestolen vind het verschil te groot. Bedden erg hard. personeel wel erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam. restaurant 2 x geweest eten erg goed.

Al eerder hier verbleven, inmiddels is het hotel opgeknapt. Handige locatie vlak bij de kreek en souq. Metro op korte loopafstand. Kregen een upgrade naar hele ruime kamer. Heerlijk rustig. Personeel is erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Ontbijt is goed gesorteerd. Enige minpuntje: de taxi die we voor t hotel hadden aangehouden om ons naar de luchthaven te brengen werd bestuurd door een sluwe chauffeur. Bij t afrekenen werd t biljet van 100 dirham weggemoffeld en hij beweerde dat er nog niet betaald was. Discussie volgde en overleg in t nl met mijn echtgenoot leverde de volgende strategie op: een biljet van 50 dirham wisselgeld werd uit zijn hand gegrist, echtgenoot bleef zitten in de taxi terwijl ik de bagage eruit zette, daarna is mijn echtgenoot pas uitgestapt. Oplettendheid is dus geboden. Over het algemeen hadden we betere ervaringen met taxichauffeurs in Dubai

I've been to many hotels in my life, and I would NOT call this a hotel. I booked it for two nights, and left the hotel in the MIDDLE of the FIRST night for a different hotel. The windows had paint, dirt, scratches all over them. There were weird holes in the ceiling. Nothing in the hotel had been cleaned in a long time it seemed. All the outlets were physically broken. EVEN the main elevator was more dirty and awful than I could have imagined, it seemed as if people were just spitting in it and no one was cleaning it. I was planning on leaving the day after I checked in because of the conditions, but the reason I just had to leave in the middle of the night was because of the night manager. He was a Pakistani guy, I forget his name, but he DID NOT KNOW how to speak with another HUMAN BEING. Most disrespectful person I've ever encountered. Even simple genuine questions or requests, he completely threw a tantrum about. DO NOT STAY IN THIS HOTEL

The location is excellent, close to the old Dubai and the street markets. Lots of restaurants, shops, groceries, etc nearby. Staff was very friendly and helped us at all times. Great service by reception desk, the restaurant at the 7th floor and the cleaner who took care of our room. The room looks a bit dated but everything works and it was not an issue. No outside noise, TV had western channels and aircon works really well. I'd stay there again and recommend the hotel to other travelers who want to stay near the old Dubai, instead of the flashy new districts. Thank you for the great service.

terrible service & environment also wrong booking
I've stayed many times in this hotel, but it seems in recent years, it's going downward only. All my customers around also said this hotel quality reduced too much. The luggage and front desk service and Sherlock Holmes bar are good and excellent. But the reception and environment of whole hotel are very worse. I booked for one room with two twin beds but they only provide one room and reluctant to admit it's their mistake. The environment and route to everywhere are terrible. cleaness very bad, you can see stains on pillow, sheets... elevators not functioning safe and comfort, air conditioning always crazy hot during day time and freezing cold at night and no way to adjust....service and facility all worse than ever seen. This is a hotel I will never stay and will only give bad credit to others.

One of the worst nights spent in a hotel in a long time. I was first given a room that was under maintenance (paint smell + items spread on the bed) and then shifted to another room where AC kept making horrible noise intermittently

This was my fourth visit to Arabian Courtyard, i always enjoy staying here for a few day's. Just so i can visit the souks and gold shops. The hotel staff are always friendly. Hopefully see you again soon
