I couldn't travel to Dubai due to cancelation of all flights going to Dubai because of the sadly sever weather conditions (16th of April 2024). However, the hotel charged me the first night as no-show even that I sent them a message before check-in time in advance and my booking class was refundable. It was not expected from the hotel to take advantage of natural disasters.

Good. Not great.
The hotel is fine. Not great. Not bad. While checking in, cigarette smoke from one of the bars on the ground floor permeated the lobby. Upon reaching out nonsmoking room on a nonsmoking floor, the smell of cigarettes was coming through the ventilation. The rooms were fine. A bit dated and the tile in the showers was in poor condition. If you want nightlife you don't have to leave the location. Nice places for this. It's convenient location to many other attractions. Staff was very friendly.

Comfy stay
A great stay as a couple, a bit away from the beaches but close to Metro and very comfortable large rooms, got an upgrade. The breakfast was very good and with lots of variety. Service was v good and quite a lot of eating places and even groceries nearby in the area.

Very nice Hotel in a very nice neighborhood. Had 2 rooms which were very spacious and clean (side by side). All staff were very courteous and did everything possible to help (had aged parents who were traveling with me). The breakfast buffet was sumptuous and the variety was great. The Crystal Bar was visited nightly and the drinks and service were awesome. Hotel is very close to the Mall of the Emirates Will be back again

Utrolig arrogant medarbejder. Prøver at snyde folk til at betale ekstra. Nægter opgradering selvom man er guld-medlem. Du får tildelt ryger-værelser. Vi måtte skrifte værelser 3 gange under vores ophold. Badeværelse var utæt og lugtede kraftigt af kloak. Gammelt og slidt hotel. Slet ikke 5 stjerne værd.

I don’t know how and why this hotel is rated five star. My husband and I stayed 4 nights in this hotel for our anniversary and we had the worst experience. Upon arrival, check in took very long. The reception said the room is being “inspected” and hence it is taking long. We stepped into our room and noticed the AC wasn’t working, there was no working plug in the washroom AND the shower drain was clogged. The first 4 hours of our stay was wasted dealing with the hotel’s technician coming to our room trying to fix things. He put a long corded extension from the washroom into the room so we could use our blow dryer! The tubs in this hotel is so small that you can’t shower without having your arms touching the walls on the side. The tub itself was filthy as well and the shower was leaking. I’m not sure why our room took so long to get “inspected” and yet NOTHING was working properly. We spent so much money and I feel like we were ripped off. This was NOT a pleasant nor memorable experience for us and we would not go back to this hotel.

On the other hand, please allow me to add some balance to your review:You arrived to the hotel at 14:44 hrs , since there was no deluxe rooms ready during that time, you were advised just to wait for few minutes . At 14:55 hrs , which means 11 minutes later, room was ready and you were checked in . So, your check in was according to the standard check in time which is 1500 hrs.When your husband approached the reception in the evening and stated that, you were not happy with the room, we have immediately changed your room with free upgrade to one of the best Executive suites without any additional cost as a courtesy , which was not mentioned in your review . Thank you again for your patronage and your feedback. We deeply regret not having been able to provide you with the complete stay experience you deserve and expected. Staff are very friendly and location of hotel is excellent, 25mins to airport and 15mins to internet city, malls etc. Sushi Buffet is excellent with 2 for 2 happy hour 9pm - 11pm. Unfortunately the property is fairly dated and this shows clearly with amenities and towels are very hard and off white due to age.

Louie at the front desk was a star in accommodating our needs, especially in relation to late check out. The apartment was well-appointed, including dishes and cutlery (no dishwasher or dishwashing liquid). Having a washer/dryer was a plus as well, you have to provide your own detergent. The pool gets direct sun in the morning, until around 130. Having restaurants and bars on the ground level was a plus - depending on when you're in town, you may be able to avail yourself of specials, such has Happy Hour or Ladies Nights. The restaurant Atrium on the first floor had a decent Iftar buffet, breakfast in the morning had the Western essentials, with a Middle Eastern and Indian mix. The location is super convenient. The property is a tad dated, but the price seemed to reflect that. I would stay there again.
