Although a great hotel in terms of presence and location. The reception staff here are incompetent and borderline rude. There are three tiers of rooms, road view, partial sea view, and full sea view. I paid for a full sea view room, was given an obstructed view of the sea which you can only see once you step onto the balcony.
When I brought this up to the staff, in fact the manager they said there’s no such thing as a partial sea view (which is an outright lie - try searching the options for rooms on Expedia). They then asked me to come back in 3 hours for the room change which I did, and the new room still wasn’t ready (!) and to come back in another 2 hours! To which I spoke to the manager again who finally changed it.
Was promised a porter to come and help with the luggage who never arrived. Infact when we went to the old room to collect the luggage ourselves, the door had been left wide open with our belongings all on display!
Upon checkout I gave this feedback and the reception staff still insisted that there’s no such thing as a partial sea view room and that they did us a favour by moving room. It’s just plain rude and incompetence. You need to check how your price and advertise your rooms! Why was I given an option to pay for a full sea view room which is more expensive than the partial then? Are you duping me?
I won’t be booking here ever again!
