My company booked for me a room in the smoking section because the hotel was full. However, I am sure that this level of smoking is not safe or even acceptable. The smell of the entire floor even before i get to my room is terrible. I got very sick and asked the hotel receptionists three times to change my room as i couldnt breathe anymore, but they didnt even bother to help. they kept saying "sorry ma'am the hotel is full" . honestly it was SOOO bad that I had to check out earlier than the nights i booked, and went to sleep at another place.

The area is fairly quiet without many places to eat but it is close the metro station with access elsewhere. It's very safe outside and not far from World Trade Centre, Burf Khalifa or Deira It's a typical Novotel as we have in Europe, perhaps slightly more luxurious. The staff are pleasant and helpful.

staff was a mixed bag. generally nice but communication was poor over the phone in particular. found it difficult to get a good night sleep due to bed and room temperature (mine was warm and others in our group had it too cold). had an issue with laundry not being returned in time which resulted in needing to have front desk scramble so that i could have it in time for my flight.

The location of the property was ideal in relation to distance from the airport and proximity to a medical facility I was visiting. The one area for improvement was the check-in experience. Even though I was checking in at 3:20 a.m. following a delayed flight, the representative who checked me in was not at all welcoming and seemed distracted with other concerns.

The maintenance person that cleaned our room was great, Mr Abdul Kalam , he deserves all the thanks for cleaning and taking care of us always with a smile. Breakfast was just OK, no coffee machine as you would expect, and the bread was dry and old never fresh for 4 days! but there was a verity of things to choose from. It is worth the money and the location is not bad from Airport and city center. The Palm Island is far, but it was OK just plan your time a head because of traffic. Must download Careem App ( green smile Icon) for taxi services, in English and easy to use. Save time and money!! That is a must, all taxi and Uber use it, don't use the USA Uber app it will be much more expensive.

Everything was good
This is a good standard Novotel. No fuss rooms, clean and everything works. The bathroom is super clean. Beds are good. The room is not the largest, but the layout is very efficient, so I would not say they are too small. It met my expectation from the Novotel brand.

nice hotel, clean , but half board and full board has lots of riders, very limited options for food, no buffet, you can only have one starter, one main dish and one sweet, qualtity is aslo not adequate very limited !! break fast has good options and there is buffet -so it is good.

Checked in around mid night it was a last minute booking to escort family member in the hospital. Check in was ok in speed and attitude. My room was 428 facing the road and other hospital. No better surroundings anyhow mind this hotel is located in the health city surrounded by hospitals Room was good in size and clean Tv was good Bed was comfortable Unfortunately no bathrobe Bathroom small but clean Basic amenities available Breakfast was basic and too busy, quality needs improvement Self Parkings are too small Hotel in general is very good for a short business trip
