It was a nice place to stay. But honestly, its not that clean as i notice, but overall, it could recommendable for friends staycation and family.

Bra service!
Fin belligenhet i Bur Dubai. En rimeligere bydel i forhold til restauranter. Leiligheten var stor og vi hadde det vi trengte. Men det var litt gammelt og slitt og kunne vært renere. Lobbyen var fin og servicen veldig bra. Desverre var bassengområdet under oppussing. Et helt greit hotell viss du er ute etter en rimelig leilighet og ikke har behov for topp standard.

The problem for me is that the hotel advertised a washer/dryer in each apartment, but the machine was only a washer with no drying function. So I was left with a load of wet clothes! There is a terrible smell coming from the kitchen drain. The kitchen cupboards are old and need replacement, there are only a very few plates,. The stove needs to be replaced, the elements are very rusted. The freezer is unusable as it is completely iced up. Rm 303.

The staff have always been diligent and accommodating whenever I make a request e.g. housekeeping, front desk and bellboy. Afraz makes things possible which only shows his utmost dedication to his work. Thank you! The only concern I have is the humidity in the room and the lighting as the windows are very small and no natural light comes in. I suggest more light fixtures should be installed and perhaps a proper ventilation as the smell of mold is becoming apparent and this is a Health and Safety concern. Moreover, I was a bit appalled when I saw the masseuse at the Skylight Spa. As a Naturopathic Doctor hoping to come for relaxation, I felt a bit uncomfortable when I saw how the masseuse dressed in skimpy uniforms with half chest shown and excessive amount of make up. I and my husband felt so uncomfortable that we ended up walking away. Despite of the uncomfortable observations/situations I experienced, I have to say that the staff - Front Desk and Housekeeping, in particular, made the difference and the price that is reasonable. I will stay in this property again and will recommend it to friends and family.

Nice place to stay
The room was very large and comfortable. The front desk staff and room service staff was very professional and friendly. The room service food was excellent and had a great price. The only problem I had is that my friends who came to Dubai for their vacation could not visit my room because they only had a passport

Disappointing
When we first checked in we were taken to a "non-smoking" room which smelt of cigarette smoke. We asked to change and they were very helpful and took us to another room which was a different configuration and not as good and had a broken washing machine. We asked for another room and it was ok with a slight smell of cigarette, however my wife couldn't sleep that night as the smell was annoying her, so the next day we asked for a new room. They found us another room but the freezer was frozen solid because the door didn't shut properly, they replaced the fridge/freezer and it still didn't shut properly but did work, until we turned off the lights at night, not realising that one of the light switches was a master switch for the fridge...and the fridge became hot. The front was also falling off the washing machine. Two out of 4 hotplates in the kitchen were broken. One bed lamp was broken, the light fitting above the dining table was falling apart, the toilet paper holder was falling apart. The towel hook was broken in the bathroom. There were no umbrellas (as pictured) over the only 6 pool chairs at the pool. Staff were helpful but the hotel is tired and in need of many repairs. Extremely limited TV channels. Though you can have a child with you for free, they only provide two plates, cups, cutlery, etc, so you have to bring your own for the child. They will provide an extra towel if you ask, but you have to ask EVERY DAY as they will take it away each day.

Overall, a good stay. Love the location.
I stayed at Royal Ascot for three and a half weeks. Overall it was a good stay, with high points and low points. On my second night in I wanted to cook a meal, but the hot plates were absolutely useless. It took an hour to boil water. I complained to reception staff and a new hotplate was installed the next day. That was a definite plus. A negative was the washing machine, none of the staff knew how to operate it so I Googled the model number to come up with a solution. However, even armed with that knowledge the machine was still did not work properly. Overall the staff were excellent, particularly the front desk. This hotel is rated as four star, but it is struggling to maintain that standard. The owners need to spend money on the building, the gym, and some apartments, e.g. washing machines.. Having said that, I give it a pass and would stay there again.

Lagom för lagom peng.
För 700:-/natt för ett dubbelrum var det ett helt okej hotell. 80:- för frukosten testade vi en morgon men var inte värt det. Bor man inte vid stranden kan det kvitta var man bor, bara man har nära till metron, vilket detta hotell har. Takpoolen och gymmet var små men inte många som utnyttjade så fyllde sin funktion. Helt okej utsikt från taket, men inget märkvärdigt. Inga större fel men hade nog valt annat nästa gång och kanske inte rekommenderat det om det inte är något extra bra pris.

OK but not the best
I found very welcoming staff and they try to process everything quickly. The best thing in this hotel is the staff. It is quite hotel. Simple architecture and design. The furniture looks so old and not very well taking care of It seems their was problem with card keys for the room so they give me normal key which it was so odd in 2016 There is no good maintenance of the room as the hunger in the bathroom was not fixed properly although it just need small screw and everything well be ok. The safe was looked and I did not bother to ask them to open it but this is representing low quality of service before providing the room. The most odd thing is the location of the TV, you can't see it if your are on the bed or even the comfort chair. You have to be in an angle and you can watch few channels. Over all it was ok for me for few days I will think ten times before thinking to use it again but I might do

Lage nicht zentral, aber direkt an Metro-Station. Mina Bazaar und Creek sind zu Fuß erreichbar, der Rest per Metro. Die Hotelzimmer waren sehr sauber, jedoch etwas kleiner als auf den Fotos abgebildet. Hotelpersonal sehr freundlich, konnte jedoch bei vielen Nachfragen (bzgl. Metro, Transportmöglichkeiten, Sehenswürdigkeiten etc.) nicht wirklich weiterhelfen (daher am besten selbst im Internet oder in Reiseführern informieren). Frühstück nicht empfehlenswert, aber da die Zimmer über eine kleine Küche verfügen und sich Supermärkte in unmittelbarer Nähe befinden, kann man sich das Frühstück auch selbst zubereiten. Für einfachen Städtetrip mit begrenztem Budget ist das Hotel definitiv weiterzuempfehlen.

The room was clean. The hotel had no washcloths. I had to ask multiple times for the staff to provide a 2nd bed. There was only one lock on the door. The lighting was dim. There was a fee for the wifi. The room did include a kitchen, which I didn't need, but I guess that was higher than the quality of the room.

Excellent Staff, Location and Facilities
Perfect place to stay if your not that worried about staying in the latest 6 star hotel in Dubai. The Royal Ascot Apartments are situated near the "old town" which suits me fine. Easy to access public transport or drive yourself to any one of the attractions in Dubai. All in all a great place to stay with nice staff...

When I booked, it advertised free in room wi fi, free airport shuttle, free breakfast. None of it was true. The gym closes at 7:30pm. Construction going on next door.
