Heel luxe hotel, op een zeer centrale locatie. Het hotel ligt pal voor een metro station die aangesloten is op de red line. Via een overdekte loopbrug is de Dubai Mall met 10 minuten lopen te bereiken. Het hotel heeft zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel en een zeer uitbreid internationaal XXL ontbijtbuffet met een bijna eindeloze keuze aan koude tot warme gerechten. Op mijn verjaardag werd ik verrast met een chocoladetaartje en een met rozenblaadjes versierd bed en bad. Heel romantisch! We hadden ook een kamer geboekt met uitzicht op de Burj Khalifa. Omdat er andere gebouwen half voor staan, noemde het personeel het een 'passage view, but a nice view'.

The suite I stayed in with my family was spacious, clean and quiet with an excellent view of downtown Dubai. The breakfast and the iftar dinner at the restaurant is delicious. This hotel is one of the best hotels we've ever stayed in. The service is outstanding. The rooftop pool is one of the nicest ones we have ever seen at a hotel. We hope to come back for a vacation again soon.

I was in the middle of renewing my Emirates ids and because of that i only had my driver's license available as my valid form of id (my company holds our passports until the ids are issued), so they wouldn't let me check in. It ruined my entire weekend that was planned in Dubai with friends that flew all the way from the States to visit. Very disappointed that no accommodation could be made with the hotel.

Très proche du métro ligne rouge station Burj Khalifa, possibilité d’aller à Dubaï mall et Burj Khalifa à pied et à l’aéroport en métro en moins de 40 mn. Chambre confortable, spacieuse, propre avec climatisation. Personnel souriant, accueillant et professionnel. Buffet petit-déjeuner très varié (salé et sucré) avec de nombreux choix. Hotel location was great and walking distance to Dubai Mall. The hotel staff was very nice and helpful. Excellent breakfast buffet.👍 The room was fine but the 2 bed side tables are very small and only one side has outlet for charging phones. Also the room light switches are very confusing.

I had an amazing stay at Sofitel with my family. The staff were very helpful. There was a range of breakfast choices. We had a beautiful view of Burj Khalifa. The hotel is a 15 minute walk from Dubai Mall which is through the air conditioned metro link. I would highly recommend.

Checked in on New Year's Eve when pretty much all traffic was shut down. The hotel staff was very welcoming and gracious. Amazing hotel with a big and delicious breakfast. Walking distance to Dubai Mall and Burj Khalifa. They have a couple restaurants and nightclub on premise. Definitely a MUST stay in Dubai.

My wife and I recently returned from our vacation in Dubai. We had a wonderful stay at Sofitel Downtown Dubai. Everyone we interacted with was friendly and helpful. The entire reception team and breakfast staff were amazing. I would like to highlight a few people who made our stay pleasant. Nebil, Si Thu, Carlo, Vesta, Winnie, Joy, May and Mustafa. We specifically traveled to Dubai to celebrate the New Year, and we were delighted to learn about the hotel hosting a New Year’s Eve Gala. The event was magnificent, down to every detail! The entire staff worked diligently to put on such an amazing event! There was a world-class spread to satisfy everyone’s taste palate! We loved the entire event! Thank you for a wonderful stay and the unforgettable New Year’s celebration!
