Great stay at a riverside cabin

Family Vacation
The best thing about this listing is the location and the stream in the back yard. The access to all of the trails were awesome as well. The house itself was very dated and not very clean but served its purpose for our stay.

Annual Family retreat
This cabin was very accommodating for our family. We absolutely loved the creek behind the cabin. The children loved the playset out back. We also traveled to Mammoth cave and panguitch lake for fishing. Would highly recommend this cabin for a good size group

Tranquil and peaceful
We have stayed at this beautiful property 2 times and we couldn't be happier. The location is wonderful, the cabin is beautiful and fully equipped. This is a must stay and everyone had a wonderful time. We plan to stay again before the end of the year.

Incredible location!
We took our children and grandchildren to this charming cabin placed perfectly on Mammoth Creek in August 2021. There were so many things for the kids to do! They loved the creek, playground and tire swing! The cabin had plenty of room for 15 of us. It is very well equipped with everything we needed in the kitchen, but the house could use mouse traps!!! Within minutes we got to explore the Mammoth Spring, Mammoth Cave and fishing on Panguitch Lake. There were plenty of excellent trails for our 4-wheelers to keep everyone happy! We were all extremely satisfied! The cabin wasn't as clean as we expected. We definitely left it cleaner than when we arrived!

Beautiful location on the river, rustic cabin
Cabin was easy to find, minimal dirt road, driving, beautiful location, the kids loved play play set and the river. The cabin is certainly not “updated”, but the photos show you accurately what it is. Good wifi internet.

Christmas Getaway
Came out to get away for Christmas and had a great time. Old school style cabin very comfortable. Plenty of room. The creek was a great attraction and we had snow that came down. A little tricky to find it due to the hidden location. Overall everyone had a blast!

Winter Retreat
The point of our trip was to have a hide away for our family. Before the trip we had various questions for the owner and she was very responsive and helpful. The cabin was cozy and had plenty of space for us to spread out. The location is remote and beautiful. The surrounding area is peaceful. The house was clean and comfortable and the kitchen well stocked with dish ware etc. and the pool table got plenty of use.

Weekend getaway
Perfect for big family and friends getaway! We loved the backyard with soothing creek and trees on the background. We enjoyed the campfire as well, actually spent most of our time outside around campfire! Grilled a lot too with our own grill! Lots of room for tent camping at the backyard!

The cabin and location were great. we did have a mouse problem and a dead one in a trap that appeared to have been there for a while. The dishes in the kitchen all had to be cleaned before we could use them, but not a problem. The only other issue was the highchair - it was great to have, but took a very deep cleaning before we could put our 11 month old in it. Other than that, we had an amazing time and enjoyed our stay!

Great Location
We found plenty to do for the kids at the location and it was a perfect location for exploring the area. Plenty of room, well equipped and easy enough to access. The check in and powering up of the place and similar mile long check out task list is excessive. Given the VRBO fee and cleaning fee we shouldn't be required to do laundry for the owners at check out. That process was our only real disappointment. Although we didn't use the gas grill, it should be ready to go and the gas bottle filled. The note about possibly needing to fill the gas bottle was an aggravation. We have no idea how the previous guests left the propane bottles and don't particularly care to go in to town somewhere to fill up the gas before cooking. For the price, the cleaning staff or somebody should have that taken care of. Like I said, it wasn't a problem for us because we didn't end up using the grill....it's just the expectation that we would possibly need to take care of that issue before cooking that bugged us. Overall...great place, glad we decided to stay at the property. Very satisfied.

A Gem on Mammoth Creek in the Dixie National Forest
My family and I needed to escape for a week and this was the perfect place. The cabin is in great condition and in a wonderful location. Sitting on the porch drinking my morning coffee and smelling the fresh pine trees and listening to Mammoth Creek melted away any stress I had. The location was great! Aside from the kids playing and fishing in the creek, we spent a day boating on Panguitch Lake and could easily drive to Bryce Canyon and The Wave. Also, the beautiful Dixie National Forest offered great nature walks for the family. If you’re looking for a nice getaway, this cabin is an excellent option and I would stay again.

Mammoth Creek Cabin
This was a delightful rustic cabin right next to Mammoth Creek. The children enjoyed the swings. But most of all they enjoyed being able to go to the creek and play in the shallow water. We were able to do a lot of visiting without much worry about the creek being dangerous. The inside was quite spacious. We enjoyed the pool table and having lots of places to sit and visit. The kitchen was small but adequate. The cabin owner was easy to work with and we were able to communicate about concerns before we made the trip. We would recommend this property.

We loved our stay at this lovely cozy family cabin. The beauty that surrounds the cabin is spectacular! There were plenty of bedrooms and beds. The pool table was a lot of fun. We had a fire each night and enjoyed being out in nature.

One of the best placed cabin in western states and trust me I've been in every single state or recreation area ,the river in the backyard will make u feel 10-20 years younger and every morning full of energy !

Family, Forest, and Fun!!!
We 'll ed the cabin! All of us had comfy beds and fluffy towels after a shower. It was great to fall asleep to the sound of the creek. The location was great...not too far from Bryce or Zion. The kitchen space was a little small, but we managed. It is a great family getaway.

Very Pleasant and a fun place to stay
This cabin was a great fit for our family. The adults enjoyed the pool table while the kids loved the swinging hammock chairs on the back porch. The large parking area was appreciated. The kitchen was a little small. The upstairs rooms were a little hot for sleeping. The beds were close together but I see the necessity of having many beds to accommodate large families. We even enjoyed the fire pit out back to roast our s'mores. Overall, we had a great experience at the cabin.

Great place to enjoy quality family time. With alternate areas for entertainment.
Took Grandma and Grandpa and plenty of grandkids. Great place to reunite with all the family. Local business owners at falconsnest (ATV Rentals ) and Rocky point boat rentals really added to our trip being that much more enjoyable. Nice to get away from the hustle and bustle and take in a slower pace.

Great weekend!
Everything was great. The only issue we had was the circuit breaker for the living room keep going off. It happened 4 times but easy enough to fix. Beds where comfortable and it was big enough for 16 people.

We had a great time, lots of fun. This place has made wonderful memories for our family.
The cabin was big, we are a big family and everyone enjoyed the stayed. The cabin has basically everything. The children loved the backyard, the creek and the fire pit.

What an amazing location and comfortable stay!
What a great experience! The house is comfortable and stocked with all of the basics. We tested the kitchen capacity with a Thanksgiving feast for 12 people...the kitchen was well stocked with all of the pans and pots needed. Plenty of beds and all were comfortable with plenty of extra blankets and pillows. An absolutely beautiful property with a spring fed creek flowing just 50 yards from the house. We slept with the window open and listened to the sounds of the creek which was incredibly relaxing! The fireplaces kept the house nice and cozy as well! Great experience!

Wonderful fall getaway
We had an absolutely wonderful stay. Our 5 and 3 year old sat on the deck and watched the turkeys waddle through the back yard right in front of them. You have to stay here to truly appreciate what this place has to offer. We will definitely be back.

The owners are pleasant and super easy to work with and responded promptly when we had questions.
Kitchen was well stocked with necessary pots, pans; cooking, baking items and utensils. Bedrooms have plenty of beds and bedding. It was a bonus to be right on the creek. The sound of running water added to the mountain experience. Farely safe for kids to play in because the creek runs shallow and slow at the cabin. A couple yards upstream from the cabin is a sweet fishing hole. Cabin is cute and comfy but could use some updating. It appeared the cleaning crew missed opportunities to remove mice droppings from corners, etc. Overall, we'd definitely return to this cabin again.

Great space in a beautiful setting
My family and I had a blast at this cabin. Everything was clean an well cared for. The kitchen had everything you could imagine. I didn't even need to bring half of the supplies I though i would use, it was all there. The location was easy to find thanks to easy directions supplied by the owner. My kids and dogs had a blast playing in the stream on the property, every morning we were greeted by lots of wildlife. I will be visiting this place again soon.

Very Comfortable and Good Layout
We stayed here for a week, and enjoyed every minute of it. The bedrooms accomodate many beds each, and even with the multitude of beds, they are very easy to get in and out of. There are two sets of stairs leading to different parts of the second floor, this was quite convenient for both early sleepers and late night party-ers. The front yard and back yard are both entertaining, the front having kids swings, and the back having a large deck, fire pit, and of course the rushing creek. Plenty of parking available, we had 6 cars, a small trailer, and a small boat in the parking area. Our total head count of people was 22, and no one complained about being too cramp or the feeling of being in anyone's way. The only draw back is there needs to be a second fridge, we had to use all our coolers, and constantly refill with ice. We do plan on staying here again in the future.

Peaceful
This is a very nice setting in the mountains accented by the creek. I just love late September and the first part of October as the Aspen trees are changing colors which gives such a beautiful contrast to the entire area. This location is just minutes from Panguitch lake and so many other must see locations. A wonderful experience.

The fall leaf season or the "Dead Leaf tour" as my husband likes to call it, is magical! So peaceful and so many beautiful vistas in the area. I always reserve a week for myself this time of year.
