Volledig gerenoveerd 4bd / 2ba Lake Home, Mooi strand, gastronomische keuken

Mooi, volledig bijgewerkt 4 slaapkamers, 2 badkamers meer thuis op wenselijk Island Lake. Dit meer van 10.800 hectare ligt op slechts 20 minuten ten noorden van Duluth en staat bekend om zijn geweldige vissen, zwemmen en varen in de zomer en lef, sneeuwschoenwandelen en ijsvissen in de winter.

Bijna elke centimeter van het huis is bijgewerkt, zowel exterieur als interieur. Elke kamer in het huis biedt een geweldig uitzicht op het meer. Het beschikt over 3 slaapkamers en een badkamer boven, samen met een kleinere slaapkamer en badkamer beneden. De woonkamer is ruim, compleet met een grote sectionele bank en gashaard afgewerkt met veldsteen, samen met een grote lcd-tv voor die regenachtige dagen. Wi-Fi is ook beschikbaar. De gastronomische keuken is voorzien van granieten aanrecht, twee wastafels, professionele 6 pits gasfornuis, vaatwasser, dubbele ovens en mooie massieve kersen kasten. Het beste van alles, de keuken kijkt uit op het zacht glooiende gazon met een perfect uitzicht op het water. De slaapkamer beneden, naast de keuken, beschikt over een stapelbed met twee eenpersoonsbedden en een pocketdeur. De badkamer beneden biedt een grote linnenkast, een douche, een toilet en een grote wastafel. Boven heeft de slaapkamer een prachtig uitzicht op de tuin en het strand. Het is uitgerust met een queensize bed, twee nachtkastjes, lcd-tv, een dressoir en een kast. De tweede slaapkamer heeft ook een prachtig uitzicht op het meer, samen met een queensize bed, dressoir en kast. De derde slaapkamer is compleet met een weids uitzicht op het meer, groot stapelbed, dressoir en kast. De badkamer op de bovenverdieping is voorzien van een ligbad met douche, wastafel en toilet. Buiten biedt het omhullende dek veel ruimte om wat zon te krijgen, samen met een grote vuurplaats voor s'mores 's nachts. Een 4-pits propaan grill is beschikbaar voor bbq'ing. De grote tuin, perfect voor gazonspellen, loopt licht af naar het privéstrand. Beschermd in een privébaai, zonder buren, maakt het zandstrand deze locatie tot het perfecte zwemgat voor kleintjes of volwassenen. U zult genieten van alle gemakken van thuis in dit prachtige meer thuis op Island Lake. Houd er rekening mee dat zwemvesten en strandlakens niet worden verstrekt. Airconditioning is niet beschikbaar en de open haard is geen functionele eenheid.

Ulland Family Trip 2025

Loved the property. This was a family vacation with our three grown children, daughter-in-law, and toddler grandson. There was plenty of room for all of us without being on top of each other. We were disappointed that the lake was so low that we were not able to take advantage of the beach area. But we were so busy that a beach day might not have happened anyway.

What a fantastic place! The home was very clean & was perfect for our large family & little grandkids. Was well stocked with anything you needed in the kitchen for preparing & serving meals. We enjoyed the large yard & evening bonfires. (with wood provided) I highly recommend this place for a getaway! The gorgeous sunsets won’t disappoint.

The kids especially loved playing in the yard, and there was plenty of room for everyone to relax. The location was perfect—close to all the great spots in and around Duluth. Good Property - Checkout Process Too Much

The property was as advertised and worked well for the family. The reason for 3 stars is the checkout process and many notes to the guests. The expectation was that we would be the cleaning crew for the property (dishes washed and put away, counters spayed and disinfected, beds stripped and placed in specific bin, etc.) It was a bit much and did not make us feel welcome.

Very nice lake home.

This property was very well equipped with everything we needed for our vacation. Kitchen very well stocked for all our cooking and eating needs. All paper products were on hand for our use. I did use the BBQ grill for one meal. Bedrooms were comfortable and worked out perfect for our group. Everyone felt they had a good time. My one negative was that the dock and beach were un-useable because the water level was unusually VERY low. I know that we can't blame our host for Mother Nature, but we had a couple boats we wanted to tie to the dock for easy access. I specifically asked ahead of time if the dock was there, and I was not told it was completely out of the water

Checkin was easy. House was spotless! Nice big kitchen for meals. Plenty of room for people. Host responded quickly to any questions. Internet worked flawlessly. Nice sandy beach and dock for boats. Boat launch is near by 5 miles by car and 1 mile by boat. 40 minutes from Duluth, 40 minutes from Two Harbors. Caught lots of fish! Smallmouth Bass, perch, rock bass, pike. Great Lake !. Great experience all around ! Would stay here again! We already miss being there . Thanks again

Wonderful MN family cabin!

We rent a cabin somewhere in MN every summer with our family (grandparents, my sister’s family). We love exploring new places, and making new memories. This cabin was the perfect place for us! The kids had so much using our kayaks and SUPs. Hours were spent on the lake. Thank you!

Great family getaway

We had an absolute blast exploring Duluth and the North Shore with our young family. This house was the perfect distance to all the attractions and was a great place to unwind after a long day. We enjoyed bonfires in the evenings and the kids loved the yard.

Great Family Getaway

Quiet, peaceful lake home with sandy beach front. House was clean and had everything needed to make for a great family vacation! Wading in the lake during the day and relaxing by the bonfire in the evenings. Close enough to make a visit into Duluth to canal park for the afternoon too.

Great cabin for a family group!

This was a great cabin for our 4-generation group, including 2 toddlers and a senior with a walker. We found it accessible for all ages. It was also incredibly well stocked with cleaning supplies and kitchen tools. Thanks for a great stay!

Fantastic view, terrible beds

Good: VIEW!!! Private little bay is shallow and perfect for kids. Kitchen utensils and supplies, cleaning supplies, paper goods, etc. plentiful. Bad: BEDS!!! For as high as the rate is, the mattresses need to be WAY better. SO. Painful. UGH- Hot water lasts 3-4 mins and goes cold, then you have to wait 2-3 minutes for it to get hot again. Definitely could not get a hot bath for the kids. Upstairs shower meant for very short person. Also WI-FI did not work the first couple days. So-So: Not clear which door to use. Small cabin on side looks like someone is living in there which feels creepy. AC broken then fixed, Hot!! upstairs. Lots of light in master BR hard to sleep in morning. So....fantastic views, nice yard, sweet private beach, comfy living spaces, very clean. Nice hosts! Horrible beds!! A/C, Hot Water and Wi-Fi not great.
