'My room smelled really bad. The phone cord dropped out of the handset when I picked it up. I got shampoo but no conditioner. When I took a shower I found out the drain was clogged. When I called down to the front desk they either made excuses or just told me that is the way it is. Got out of there asap. Would give half a star if I could. 'The location was in a really nice area with fun restaurants nearby. We took the bikes out to the beach at the end of the point. The breakfast was really good. This was a great find.'

'It's not the HI Express. Parking was plentiful in the ramp across the street. You walk to find breakfast, but all the shops were good (except the bakery-that was excellent!!). Canel walk was close enough, but you will be tired after walking all day. The room we stayed in had character-dark walls, the walkin glass shower had stripes like a cage! We'll probably check it out the next time we visit Duluth.'

'The reason I gave only 3 stars for the staff is because the house keeping staff did not seem to care about getting rooms ready for the next guests to checkin. They wouldn’t respond to the front Forest to see if rooms were ready. It to the general manager showing up to get them to work harder. We waited 3 hours after our checkin for our room to be ready as did many others people. The front seat people were besides themselves! 'We have stayed here twice now. Not too crowded. The scrambled eggs actually taste good. There is an additional sink outside of the bathroom, which is great for when you need to get ready while the bathroom is tied up. Pillow lovers will appreciate that there are 4 pillows for each queen bed.'

'Good place to stay and absolutely fabulous location that is minutes from all the cool stuff to do in Duluth and Superior. I just wish they had a water fountain to refill water bottles and that we could connect more than two devices to the WiFi. Hard to get good cell phone signal sometimes.'
