The Trottage: "Modern 2 slaapkamers Seneca Lake Home"

Geniet van uw vakantie in The Trottage on Seneca Lake! Deze nieuwe hut in resort-stijl is perfect voor alle leeftijden, met minimale trappen, een vlakke tuin en gemakkelijke toegang tot het meer vanaf de betonnen oprit! Met parkeergelegenheid voor 3 auto's aan de overkant van de oprit, is het minder dan 20 voet om de cabine te bereiken. Een overdekte veranda zit aan de bovenkant van de trap met uitzicht op het meer en is goed ingericht met rieten terrasmeubilair. Net binnen de toegangsdeur is een open grote kamer, met gewelfde plafonds, knoestige dennen binnenmuren en een rij ramen met uitzicht op het meer. De kleine keuken is voorzien van nieuwe apparatuur en is uitgerust voor het bereiden van eenvoudige binnenmaaltijden. Een eettafel met stoelen voor vier kijkt uit over het water, en een complete badkamer met kleine douche ligt vlak bij de keuken. De slaapkamer met een tweepersoonsbed kijkt uit op het meer en heeft directe toegang tot het complete bad. Het stapelbed bevindt zich aan de noordkant van de cabine en beschikt over 4 eenpersoonsbedden met twee tv's die naar beneden klappen boven het onderste stapelbed. De waterkant beschikt over meerdere aanlegsteigers voor het aanmeren van uw boot of vissen. Een betonnen oprit aan de noordkant van het pand leidt rechtstreeks het water in - er is geen zwemtrap nodig om in en uit te gaan. Twee kajaks zijn bedoeld voor het plezier van de gasten en kunnen gemakkelijk vanaf de helling worden gelanceerd. Het vlakke gazon is perfect voor buitenspellen zoals croquet of jeu de boules. En voor uw ligplezier na een lange dag van bezoeken aan de wijnmakerij, wacht een gloednieuwe 5-persoons hot tub op het dek op u! The Trottage ligt op slechts 6,5 km van Dundee en is handig voor boodschappen, benzinestations, restaurants en uitstekende wijnhuizen, zoals Glenora Wine Cellers, Herman J. Wiemer Vineyards, and Starkey's Lookout! Een korte reis naar het noordoosten brengt u naar de Windmill Farm and Craft Market, elke zaterdag geopend en een favoriete winkelbestemming voor toeristen in de omgeving.

Quiet Lake-front property

Small but the outside spaces including lake-front, pier, porch, outside furniture made up for the tight quarters. I missed having a dishwasher and washer/dryer but the hot tub was so nice. So many wineries and breweries near by.

The Trottage house is great! We really enjoyed our stay. The house is on the small side but the layout works great. Four of us were very comfortable. For a couple with kids would work great too. It has everything you need. The beds were very comfortable, soft. Everything was clean and easily accessible. AC worked great. Decorated beautifully with guests in mind. The outside is the place to be! The deck and hot tub were awesome! The kayaks provided were great, also had life jackets and easy ramp for in and out, if you dont want to use the dock ladder. The chairs on the dock was my favorite spot!! Love that there was a lots of seating options. We enjoyed looking at all the flowers and herbs around the yard. Hats off to the person who cares (loves) the yard. It shows! Very peaceful!! Our only issue and there is really nothing that can be done about it.. Was the spiders at night. After dark the spiders took over, the dock, swing and front porch railings. They were all over them. But they would all be gone in the morning. I only mention this because there were a lot... but it comes with the lake. Ironically we didnt see not one bug or spider inside the house, which was a shock considering the night time. But no even one. The house was so clean. I was very happy there were none in the house. And they were all gone during the day. I dont think we saw one during the day. It was a very pleasant stay. We would definitely stay again!! Would love to own something like this one day.

Nice little place right in the lake!

The place is perfect for 2 people and a dog! Great deck, perfect location, nice kayaks to borrow. I would not want more than 2 people in the house as it is small. Neighbors do allow their dogs to run thru, but they are nice people and so we had a great time. We would rent it again!

Amazing little Trottage! Very cozy.

It was very clean, bed was comfy and soft. It was furnished with everything we needed. Bedding, towels, dishes, etc. Hot tub was great and well maintained. It was a great ending to each evening with the cooler weather. We highly recommend the Trottage.

Beautiful View

This cottage had everything we needed . A beautiful view every day . We recommend having coffee/tea on the dock to start your day . The yard has really beautiful flowers and herbs . The inside was given a lot of time and thought into every decoration, kitchen items , and comfort . What a great Lake and cottage to visit , and we will be back ! Thank you !

So overall is was a nice place. The porch,yard and deck were fabulous. The house was and is way to small for 3 let alone it states it can sleep 8? We were lucky we had good weather so most of our time was spent outside and out and about. Just no real room. The neighbors to the left were loud 2 nights and allowed their dogs to use our yard to do their business twice and bother our dogs. The last 2 nights it was quiet

Beautiful view but not worth the price

The view is amazing but I cannot stress how small the bed is and the shower is dangerously small and we found dirty . Just so you know I am 5 foot tall. It needs major updates and the bed sheets thankfully we brought our own. The bunk beds are extremely small and all of the lighting is just old. The deck is beautiful and the hot tub is nice but they really should lower their nightly rate and watch out for “ host fees”.

Trottage

It was very nice but,the be was too high. I could not get in. When i finally threw myself up, the topper was so soft i could not move. I flopped around like a fish trying to get on my side. I finally had to get off. Went to couch. Too short, narrow and hard to sleep. I got 1 hour. I tried the bunkbed. Hard to get in, ladder in my way. So we packed and left first think in morning. Cant be in a cottage with no sleeping areas.

Cute and Cozy

We stayed here for a girls trip. There were 4 of us (all early 30s). The cottage is very small, but you can't beat the location. It sits about 30 feet back from the lake. The hot tub on the back deck is amazing. The cottage came well stocked with all the necessities. Lots of blankets which made sitting on the deck in November nice and cozy. Would stay here again!

Great stay close to Watkins Glen

Very clean place right on Lake Seneca for a fall get away. The outside was perfect with a fire pit, hot tub and beautiful flowers everywhere. We spent a lot of time on the porch. Inside was very clean and tidy but like other reviews stated, very tight quarters. It was just two of us so we managed ok. The bed is VERY SMALL especially for those that are used to a king size bed. We used the second bedroom (with the bunkbeds) to store our gear and luggage. All in all, the location was perfect for all the activities we wanted to do.

Lovely little cottage

Superb kitchen, Beautiful plants/flowers. Great porch (spent most of our time on it. Wonderful views and lots of entertainment on the lake. The dining table useless, otherwise all the furniture worked. AC was a surprise in its effectiveness. All in all no complaints. We hope to come back. We gave a concert in Lodi on the 6th and chose this as better than a motel room. No comparison, wonderful to return to after a hot day of practice. Thanks.

Cozy Cottage

Lovely Cottage right on the lake. Very Cozy. Quiet and peaceful area. The sound of the lake adds a nice ambiance. The owner has added a lot of nice touches to feel like you're at home away from home.

Charming little cottage for a Fall Getaway

Our first time rental of this cozy little pet-friendly cottage on a level lakefront lot. My wife & I wanted to try out a Seneca Lake rental and took our chances with a late-October booking. Weather turned out to be beautiful if a bit chilly in the evenings and early mornings. The electric fireplace in the center of the cottage kept us plenty warm. It’s a tiny place but that was just fine for us two retired folks. It seems well built and is very nicely decorated inside with all the needed amenities, along with great out outdoor features — from the lakeside bench swing to the large porch and hot tub. I (Ed) even braved a short trip out on one of the kayaks! The loop around the access road made for scenic 20-minute walks with our dog. We enjoyed our time there in the quiet off-season.
