'The location is good, by the river, although it’s next to a 60mph road so cars rushing by are heard throughout the night. On the booking page there were pictures of a fairly new, cute round wooden ‘pod’, which would suit the name Glamping pods as advertised. The pods were actually present on the premises and looked really charming. We were very disappointed to find that our ‘Glamping pod’ was in fact a garden shed with double doors, which stood at an angle, had a weird combination of old beds...

'Geen tv, was stuk. Werd op ons aandringen niets aangedaan. Wifi alleen in vieze gemeenschappelijke ruimte. Geen aanspreekbare figuur aanwezig.'

'This is a great cabin in the woods and in the middle of the Highlands. A lot of tourist attraction are near by, so the location is great. Facilities are ok. Bed and shower is good. The couch is great and lovely to sit on after spending a day outside. Cooking facilities are good as well. Next time I would spend my stay in the Highlands here again. '

'We missed the turning as postcode didnt take us to the Bothie direct, but as soon as we saw the Laggan Lock sign right by the bus stop we never missed it. The place was easy to get the keys with the key code. The room its self was not like you see in the photos, which looks all cute and colourful.... and also not much room. Saying this the bed was big and so so comfy after walking all day. Their was a small domino stove top, small fridge for the wine and crockery and cup/glasses all was...

'It is a great property but don’t arrive late because there is not much communication until you arrive at the property. We arrived 3pm and you pick up keys at the coffee shop that closes arround 5:30. As long you get there early you won’t have a problem. Otherwise, the property is great! Very clean and spacious. One of the nicest place we have booked. '

'Gezellig, comfortabel huis, met heerlijke serre met een VIEW. Wandelingen om het huis mogelijk. Goede keuken, douche en openhaard. Bij problemen snelle respons en opgelost.'

'Welcomed by Keith who talked us through everything in relation to breakfast, our room etc. Everything was perfect. Hubby was happy as coffee machine in our room! Spacious, large en-suite with good shower. Loved the ‘hair straightener’ slate on the dressing table to ensure no burn marks left - I used that. Huge choice for breakfast. Lovely room to eat it in. The property is in a great position. Would definitely recommend & return. '

'The property was just perfect for the four of us, well equipped and Location, Location, Location......WOW! Our own private beach for a week to chill, yet close enough to visit the City of Inverness. Our 2 dogs were in their element. Of Course and the host, last but certainly NOT least! Turan responded to all our messages promptly and professionally. No stone left unturned. 100% attentive. Without a doubt, we will return. Thankyou again for a brilliant holiday. '

'We verbleven bijna een week in deze prachtige vakantiewoning. Alles heel goed verzorgd, prima keuken met allerlei voorraad, goede pannen, moderne badkamer met goede douche en luxe handdoeken, ruime slaapkamers. 2 nadelen: De bedden zijn klein: het tweepersoonsbed meet 190x135 en de twee eenpersoonsbedden zijn ook maar 1.90 lang. De jaloezieën voor de ramen houden nauwelijks licht tegen; wij prefereren verduisterende gordijnen.Verder heerlijk huis. Het huis is op loopafstand van kasteel Urquhart...

'Heel fijn verblijf gehad in dit huis op een prachtige locatie. Zelfs herten gezien laat op de avond. Mooi schoon huis wat van alle gemakken voorzien is. Niet super luxe maar voor ons meer dan fijn! Locatie is uniek. Weggetje naar het huis toe is ietwat stijl en was met de motor een beetje een uitdaging. Gelukkig had het al enige tijd niet geregend. Wij gaan zo weer terug!'

'The croft is very modern, very new and has all one would wish for on a short holiday break. We (family of 4) stayed for 2 nights and had a lovely stay. A lot of things to do in the Loch Ness area and Great Glen. You can sit outside on the nice terrace with nice view on garden and chicken that are roaming around. Simon and Anne did a very good job and made us feel at home.'

'We had a lovely stay in the Abbey. Apartment was spacious and comfortable. The ambiance and atmosphere was stunning. From here we made our trips to Inverness, isle of Skye and took the "Harry Potter" train in fort William to Malaig. Our daughters enjoyed the swimming pool and sauna.'

'This property met all our expectations - and hopes. Chris is an outstanding owner and helped us with all the extras - including funding us a wonderful piper to add that extra special atmosphere to our stay and a driver to tour the Spey Valley distilleries. We were all thrilled with our experience adn the house provided all the children (young and young at heart) with opportunities to play and interact. '

We were very disappointed to find that our ‘Glamping pod’ was in fact a garden shed with double doors, which stood at an angle, had a weird combination of old beds and a part of a sofa and some parts of a cupboard. Nothing near the pictures. Furthermore the damp smell could be coming from weather conditions, but there were 2 blankets (there are 5 beds, so?) and one cushion that didn’t looked good (used to be white) which might have added extra smell to the atmosphere. At least we were dry for the night although the sound of drops of water falling to the floor was heard throughout the night, a source of a leakage wasn’t found. Toilets and showers were fine, which was much appreciated. "
