'We really enjoyed our stay at Thimblewynd from Aug 09 - 24 and would recommend cottage to others. Cottage was ideally suited for two of us. Loved the character of the house combined with the modern amenities i.e. updated upstairs bathroom. We loved the location in Dunning with a short walk to local Nisa store that had a great selection of items, and the lovely Kirkstyle pub just down the road. 'Fabulous place in a great location, very quiet and safe area and plenty of car parking available overnight with restricted parking during the day. Accommodation was excellent and I will definitely use it again, kitchen was well stocked and the bed very comfy and overall the place was very well done out and clean. Communication with the host was very good additionally.'

'We vonden het uitzicht op de Schotse heuvels fantastisch. Een zwaluwnest je maakte het landelijke verblijf helemaal af. Ze vlogen af en aan. Goede keuken uitrusting en lekkere bank en stoel. Bed en badkamer helemaal top. Vlakbij Dunkeld waar van alles is aanwezig winkels en restaurants. We bevelen dit van harte aan.'

'We had a fantastic weekend at the Manse. There is plenty of space, all the rooms are beautiful, clean and the beds are very comfortable. Lovely to use the wood burners when it got a bit chilly. The kitchen is well-equipped and the big driveway was perfect since we had quite a few cars coming. Host is very nice and communication was simple and straight-forward.'

'The modern kitchen, beautiful grounds and historic stairways and rooms were so clean and comfortable for us. I was impressed because it’s not easy to keep such an old property in such a clean condition! I even had a bath one night. We loved exploring the woods and small stream around the house as well as getting out to other spots around Scotland. The house was out of the way but easily accessible even for those used to driving on the other side of the road! Loved our time here. Only downside...

'A lovely country venue. Nice and private yet contact with the hosts gave immediate result. Thought the weather was very wet it was easy to get the cabin up to temperature. All appliances in de caben were modern en well kept. Lovely hosts. Very open to questions and suggestions. Local pub great for food and in walking distance.
