'Nice pub with standard rooms. In nice location, central and easy to find. Easy and friendly check in, nice cooked breakfast too. Beds comfy. Shower was a little small. Whilst they didn't have anywhere to store bicycles indoors overnight, we were able to lock them under shelter in the tucked away Car Park at the back. Overall ideal for our one night stay.'

'There was no one at the desk. Self check in via the hotel email. Room was on 2nd floor up two flights of winding stairs not easy to maneuver with luggage. Limited food at the hotel. Did have free parking. Very old building not handicap accessible. Room was a good size and comfortable. Bathroom was very small couldn’t open the door all the way. Not recommended for older people or anyone who can’t do stairs.'

'Not much could be improved upon at this beautiful, immaculate, well-organized B&B. Uta was delightful. The room & toilet were lovely, spacious, and wonderfully decorated. The view from our room (and even the toilet!) was one of the grand memories of our trip. Parking was in an enclosed area and spacious. Breakfast was delicious. You won't go wrong here!'
'Very easy going and comfortable hotel, beautifully located alongthe river Tweed. It’s well worth staying a couple of nights and use the hotel as a base for some beautiful hikes and sight-seeing. "On average very good! The rooms are a bit on the older side but cozy nonetheless, the only thing that really needs to go is the carpet and the bed could do with some new matresses. Housekeeping could come by a little more often to check for toilet paper etc. The breakfast is really good! And the staff was absolutely lovely! There was a wedding as we were staying there but we didn't have any problems with the noise. Granted, if you are a light sleeper this maybe isn't the hotel for you but it really wasn't that bad as some make it out to be. The life music in the pub eas actually very nice. The location of the Hotel is perfect! The bus stopped right infront of the Hotel and almost every bus went to Edinburgh centre within 20min, also late at night. The small harbour is just a 5min walk from the hotel and down the street there is another nice pub as well. We very much enjoyed our stay. "
