  • This luxurious property is located in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty with a wonderful, elevated position and sea view towards Sango Bay. It’s a haven for hill walkers and mountain climbers, with exceptionally beautiful beaches and dramatic scenery, and is renowned for its trout and salmon fishing. Other attractions include Smoo Cave, Durness Golf Course, Balnakeil Craft Village and Europe’s most northerly zip line all within 5 miles. The village has a couple of well-stocked independent shops and restaurants within walking distance.

    Entering the charming property through the front door into the hall, follow the hall into a light and bright, stylish lounge, enjoying magnificent countryside views with Sango Bay in the distance. The perfect place to relax in the evenings, light the wood burner here and enjoy a good movie or your favourite TV programme on Sky Q after an epic day out exploring the local area. The lounge has patio doors that lead directly outside to a paved seating area where you can sit and watch the world go by whilst enjoying all the view has to offer. Returning through to the hall, you continue into a very well-equipped kitchen/diner – the perfect place to cook up a storm. The kitchen hosts a Neff double oven and induction hob, fridge/freezer, microwave and integrated dishwasher and washing machine. At the far end of this room is a comfortable dining area with a Smart TV and patio doors leading outside. There is also a useful ground-floor shower room and WC. Upstairs, you will find two beautifully decorated super-king-size bedrooms which can be made up as twins on request. Both rooms have patio doors leading to glass-fronted balconies from which to enjoy the views. They both benefit from Smart TVs with Sky Q, a digital radio alarm with a charging deck for an iPhone, and an en-suite with a shower and WC.

    Outside, the property is set on a slightly raised level and overlooks the surrounding countryside and beyond, with gorgeous views of the sea in the distance. The garden is completely enclosed and there are seating areas to both ends of this cottage, perfect for al fresco dining. There is parking on the gravel driveway for two cars.
