Tim's Cabin at Two Stone Row bevindt zich op een prachtig landgoed van 85 hectare in het noorden van Albemarle County in Earlysville, Virginia. De hut ligt op de top van een kleine heuvel omringd door bomen met een opening die uitkijkt op de Blue Ridge Mountains. Het is de perfecte plek om te genieten van een rustige, landelijke omgeving in Virginia; ontspan bij het vuur, geniet van een kopje koffie op de veranda of vis / boot op de privévijver van de accommodatie.  U kunt ook een dagje naar het nabijgelegen Moss Vineyards en Glasshouse Winery (beide binnen 20 minuten rijden) of naar het centrum van Charlottesville gaan, op slechts 12 mijl afstand, voor wat eten en nachtleven.



Deze prachtig gerestaureerde blokhut werd gebouwd met historische, witte dennenblokken uit West Virginia en oude hartpijnbomen die in de restauratie veelvuldig werden gebruikt. De cabine is geschikt voor 4 personen met een queensize bed op de bovenverdieping en een slaapbank in de woonkamer.  Het hoofdniveau heeft een open plattegrond met een volledige keuken, een ontbijttafel voor 4 personen en een woonkamer met rondom een stenen open haard. Een flatscreen-tv-set met Apple TV is beschikbaar om te genieten van uw favoriete shows en films. De slaapkamer op de bovenverdieping biedt nog een open haard en een complete badkamer. Van het hoogste niveau, aan de achterkant van de hut, is een veranda die uitkijkt op de Blue Ridge.



Gasten van de accommodatie hebben ook toegang tot het terrein en gebruik van de nabijgelegen privé-vijver.

Voor degenen die feesten hebben groter dan 4, Emily's Cabin, is ook te huur op het terrein en is geschikt voor 4 personen. Perfect voor vrienden en familie die in de buurt willen zijn.

A Lovely Couples Getaway

My partner and I had a lovely anniversary getaway to Tim’s Cabin! The cabin itself had a perfect location, situated deep in the woods. At night we sat and listened to the crickets outside, enjoying the separation from our usual city life. The house was around 20 minutes from downtown Charlottesville and 30 minutes from Shenandoah, so it was a perfect mix of country, downtown, and nature!Would love to come back again.

This cabin was great even with 4-6 inches of snow during our stay. The fireplaces kept us cozy, and we had plenty of nice dry firewood the whole time. The back porch offers beautiful mountain views.

Mountain Getaway

My husband and I found this amazing property for a quick and easy getaway weekend. The space was absolute perfection for us - we enjoyed the quiet outdoors while reading on the back porch, loved using the fireplaces, and had everything we needed at the cabin to cook dinner in and feel so comfortable in the house. We also loved that it was just 25-30 minutes away from downtown Charlottesville so we could still go out to dinner one night. We will definitely be back - thank you for sharing your amazing property!

We had a great long weekend in Tim's Cabin. The online listing is one of the most accurate we've ever seen. The descriptions were spot on. The cabin is comfy and views are amazing. Wilderness Log Cabin... 3 miles from Harris Teeter

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Tim’s Cabin in Earlysville. It was so quiet and peaceful at the cabin, it was hard to believe we were minutes from Charlottesville. The cabin was comfortable and full of rustic charm. We liked to sit on the back porch enjoying the stunning view of the Blue Ridge and the occasional pileated woodpecker or hawk. It turned cool one night so we took advantage of the firepit, star gazed, and were surprised to hear an exchange between two Eastern Screech-owls. Our dogs enjoyed exploring the property and going for walks in the nearby woods. A wonderful place to stay and we hope to return again someday.

Paradise in Albermarle County

This stay surpassed all my greatest expectations. Nestled in the forest a half mile from the road is the authentic 18th century cabin; immaculately restored and furnished with period pieces throughout. I was greeted by the charming host who proudly maintains his family farm. I was invited to wander the property, to visit and tour his home to canoe on the large pond. If you even want to draw yourself away from Two Stone row, there is much to do in the area: Charlottesville is 6 miles away, dozens of wineries in the immediate area, and an afternoon trip will get you the hill cities of The Appalachians and of course, Monticello and Montpelier. But mainly, I will remember watching the deer from the porch of this historic log cabin. I dream to spend more time here in the future.

Vacation visit

We liked the pictures of Tim's cabin on the web site, but we were pleasantly surprised at how much better the place was than the pictures. The hosts have done an excellent job of preserving the charm of the cabin, while updating it to be very comfortable. The setting is absolutely beautiful with views of the mountains, trees all around, wildlife in abundance, all while providing a very private quiet stay. Access to Charlottesville, and all the wineries and is also very convenient. All in all, it was a great stay and I suspect that we will be returning when we can.

Little treasure

We have been very fortunate to travel to quite a few places, and this little cabin ranks up there as one of the best. Comfy, warm, inviting, it was a pleasant stay. Loved the logs, two fireplaces, and antique decorations. It was tucked away quiet and secluded with a beautiful view to the Blue Mountains, but close and convenient to many things. The only thing we thought it could use was more/brighter lighting downstairs. We would absolutely return again. Thank you for sharing. And thank you for the complimentary bottle of wine. Gordon and Jean were fantastic hosts as well as their dog Mosby! The cabin and property were beautiful and exactly what we were looking for! We couldn’t have asked for a better weekend in Charlottesville and will definitely be back to stay with them again!
