'Room was good - not the most pristine I’ve seen but not bad. No ice bucket in our room, which was a small annoyance. The pool is on the smaller side and they were out of towels, although the property guy brought some upon request. He was hustling every time we saw him; maybe they’re a little understaffed. 'I decided to stay at The Roost instead of the Hilton because I was attending a conference at the Cleveland Huntington Convention Center, and I'm so glad I did. It was only about a 9-minute walk to the convention center and within walking distance of several excellent restaurants and attractions downtown.
One evening I had dinner at a fantastic farm-to-table restaurant nearby that I absolutely loved, and it was great being able to explore the area on foot.

'Overall, good. Basic hotel. The restaurant closed early, and had no coffee available. No pleasant apology from restaurant employee. Fortunately a Starbucks around the corner. No in-room lock safe, was told all hotels are eliminating safes. Carried our passports and valuables with us everywhere we went. Staff were friendly, location was convenient for us.'
