'Overall experience ok, staff friendly but only one staff at the morning breakfast and have to wait for 20 mins just to order. Room was basic for Bannatyne standard. The standard double bed was very uncomfortable as it was combination of 2 beds joined together leaving the gap in the middle. Shower was flooded and toilet flush buttons not working properly. A bit dissappointed.'

'Standard room had view to back of building, so private and quiet. Not possible to adjust heating, so too stuffy at night. No fridge or biscuits in room. Bathroom had very good shower and lighting. Sufficient storage and hangers in room, but limited sockets and had to plug in kettle next to tv. Breakfast was good, but could do with more coffee machines. Parking reasonably priced and directly behind hotel. Swimming pool a big bonus, but the bins were full and needed emptying. I would stay here...

'The room we were staying, the decor was tired - not worthy of a 4 star hotel unfortunately. Upon arrival, wardrobe door was hanging off hinges, the wifi receiver box was hanging of the wall - room was also very dark. Pointed out wardrobe door to concierge and they had it fixed the next day, but should have been done before guest arrival - tables in hallway tired and peeling off. The staff was friendly though, especially in the breakfast room. Breakfast had a good choice.'
