Ontspan in deze SCHOON, GEZELLIG en NIEUW ingerichte lodge. 2 slaapkamers / 2 1/2 baden Geschikt voor 8 personen comfortabel met een koning in de kapitein, 2 koninginnen in de tweede slaapkamer en een koningin trek in de woonkamer. (ALLE GLOEDNIEUWE MEUBELEN EN COMFORTABELE MATRASSEN). Open concept met open haard in de woonkamer, eetkamer en keuken. 60-inch tv in de woonkamer, 43-inch tv's in beide slaapkamers hebben allemaal internet, gratis WiFi en Netflix (met persoonlijke account). Het dek op de 1e verdieping kijkt uit over het staatsbos dat tijdens alle seizoenen mooi is en rondom de Shawnee Mountains ligt! De spa-kamer met balkon op de 2e verdieping is geweldig om een frisse neus te halen, die ook uitkijkt op staatsbos en prachtig is in alle seizoenen! Zowel het dek op de 1e verdieping als het balkon op de 2e verdieping zijn kilometers ver weg! Bij uw verblijf inbegrepen is toegang tot een binnenzwembad en een hot tub in The Shawnne Inn, evenals een buitenzwembad en een recreatiegebied in Sun Mountain op slechts een paar minuten afstand! (ALLEEN IN DE ZOMER) We hopen dat u veel plezier beleeft aan uw verblijf en dat u nog jarenlang bij ons zult zijn!

Very nice unit. Spacious, clean rooms. Woodsy decor. Quiet and good location. Host was helpful on getting us checked in and alerting us to the amenities in the unit. Guide book in the unit provides lots of places to visit while you’re there. There’s a nice basket with a few K-cups for the coffee (bring more if you’re staying for a couple days) and bottle of wine. Kitchen has all the utensils, pots, pans necessary. Make sure to bring your spices, oil, etc. another recommendation is that if you drink water bring plenty with you. Water is very hard and mineralized and not desirable for drinking.

This space met our needs overall. We had a bit of a hiccup with me expecting to be able to use the pull out couch as another bed for one of my kids, but the mattress isn't available. Instead there is an air mattress. The host was very good to provide options quickly and we made it work. The kitchen is well stocked with necessary utensils and appliances. Host is very good at communication and responded quickly and attentively. It was in a quiet location, close to where we needed to be for the weekend. Thank you for having us.

It's All in the Details

We stayed here for three nights July ‘25. It's a lovely townhouse that is perfectly situated for winter outdoor activities. While our stay was good, the lack of a few details prevented it from being great.First, bring your own toiletries. The listing does not mention providing them, but it also does not call out the lack of them. We were disappointed that a nice home did not provide even a mini bar of soap in the shower. In the kitchen, the offerings were scant again. There was no sponge to wipe dishes or counters, nor soap to wash dishes or hands. There were two unlabeled baskets with pods on the counter. With no labels, we were left googling images to determine which pods were for the dishwasher and which were for the laundry. We also recommend that users bring their own coffee supplies. For two adults for four days and three nights, we were given five coffee pods. For cooking, there are pots, pans, salt, pepper, and sugar; you'll need to bring all other essentials, like oil.The house instructions also lacked details. There was no info regarding check-out. We reached out to the hosts to learn what they would like us do. Similarly, we received no directions to reach the rental until we requested them the night before we were scheduled to arrive.On the plus side, the owners are very responsive; they got back to us quickly every time. It's a nice place to stay; the jetted tub, shower, and bathtub are all great, but users need to fill in a number of absent details.

Great Ski weekend

Fantastic hosts with superb communication and a comfortable home base. The property is mere minutes from Shawnee mountain making early morning mountain access a piece of cake. Also near to shopping and medical facilities. Everything we needed as at our reach for a quick get away to the slopes. Will definitely mark this as a favorite for another stay!

Peaceful and Romantic Getaway

Property was great - very comfortable and clean. Excellent communication with owners from start to finish. Property was as advertised - plenty of space, working fireplace, fully equipped kitchen (which was important to us since we cooked breakfast and dinner). Close proximity to everything - hiking, horseback riding, downtown Stroudsburg area, etc. Cannot wait to go back next year!
