Poconos House - 5 bedroom, sleeps 12 perfect for Camelback and Shawnee skiing

Come visit the Poconos and have the whole newly furnished home to yourself. Summerton Retreat has everything that you will want in the Poconos. Comfortable house that sleeps 12 people with 5 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms.

Relax in comfort in the house which includes a screening room with a large screen TV with surround sound system or in the bar room in the basement. Chill on the covered deck and cook up some food on the grill in the summer or fire up the propane fire pit and propane heat lamp on the deck during colder weather. Hang out in other charming sitting areas on the property including a cook out area surrounded by a circle of trees or have some lunch on a picnic table in our back lawn. Our California Umbrellas will keep you well covered from the sun.

Summerton Retreat's amenities include a community recreation area that has the following areas for guests: 1) Swimming pool; 2) Tennis courts; 3) Basketball courts; 4) Baseball field; 5) Beach volleyball court; 6) Recreation room with ping pong table, foosball, and air hockey table.

When you are ready to explore the Poconos area, we will give you some curated suggestions. Eat, shop, raft, hike, or ski. Activities are available for both adults and kids. We'll hook you up to keep the kids happy.

Explore the area including the Stroudsburg farmer's market, dine and drink in the local breweries, shop in the Poconos Premium Outlets, or take hikes in the Poconos' many hiking areas.

As for active outdoor fun, there is white water rafting in the Delaware Water Gap or the town of Jim Thorpe or plan a paint ball excursion against some friends. Or take the kids to world class waterparks in the area. We are close to Khalahari, Camelback water park, and Great Wolf Lodge water park. In the winter, you can ski, snowboard and snow tube at 2 ski mountains. We are 15 minutes from both Camelback (intermediate + up) and Shawnee (beginner and less busy).

Guests must provide their name (matching drivers license) for check in purposes at the front security gate. One guest name per vehicle so if you plan to have 3 cars, please provide 3 names. For the first visit, please go to the Penn Estate Welcome Center (GPS name) to register yourself. There are 2 gates to the community and after the first check in, you can enter the community using either gates.
